Got my A off the waitlist 1/26! This was my top choice school bc the location (get to live w my sister and bro is nearby).

Any groups set up for the incoming class? Would love to get to know some people before we jump in.

Interviewed 11/6 MCAT 508 GPA 3.6 Casper was the lowest quartile ha...screw Casper.

Congratulations to Everyone who received their A off the waitlist! If anyone minds answering, did any or all of you receive the "high ranked candidate on the waitlist" email prior to their A?
congratulations one more time!

same, it might be chronological as in who interviewed first or based on stats.. good luck!

Good luck to you too! 🙂 I think it might be stat based because I interviewed on 10/23. high gpa, but lower mcat
I interviewed a couple of weeks after you so hopefully you hear back sometime soon! similar stats

It’s somewhat competitive, faculty and admin are a mixed bag. Find your group early on and ride it out
Hi, I am very interested in Touro com Middletown, do they have their own clinical sites? Is it p/f? Do they have help for struggling students?

They have Garnet Health Medical Center, which is their main clinical site. I believe a good chunk of students rotate there. The curriculum is graded. For struggling students, they have a learning specialist who is available to help out. They also have some pathway type thing to determine which students are struggling and they refer the students to the specialist, who will then meet with them. This is what I remember from my interview and subsequent emails I've sent them for more information.

Does anybody know if Middletown students can rotate at Harlem sites? Did they mention that during their interview?

I got the waitlist email on November 14th. It's the one where they begin to review waitlist applicants until the middle of may. Does that mean I am not on the high priority waitlist?

My friend got waitlisted late in the cycle last year and got off of it pretty late so I don't think so! hopefully, you'll get some good news then : )

Are there 2 different waitlist emails? A high priority vs regular or does everyone get the same one?

The faculty are great but they are changing to a mod system next year which hopefully will be better. The only thing wrong is the dorming and not being P/F.
what's a mod system?
