In the question that asks about a time you failed, other than an academic experience, would research be considered an academic experience?

OOS secondary received and submitted same day on 7/3
My brother was actually the mascot, Wilbur T. Wildcat, here a while back. I couldn't find a place to include that in any essay, unfortunately, but I will definitely be sure to bring it up if I get an interview. It is a beautiful area, and I would love to be able to work with the Southern Arizona Rescue Association.

Interview hold notification 8/13. Secondary completed 7/3. Anyone have stats on this kind of thing? Thanks!

OOS Interview hold (Submitted secondary on 7/16) LM 66

does anyone know what interview hold means based on last years (btw OOS II hold, submitted secondary 7/6/24)

OOS interview hold. Is this good or bad? Odds of getting an interview?

from last year, odds looked low. from what I hear few people get off hold but it is early in the cycle so maybe its different

Any idea what it means if I didn’t get an II or hold? Complete 7/8. Not sure if it’s bad or good news.

After looking at last year’s thread, it doesn’t look like it means much either way. There were some who got an II after no hold early on, and then some still got put on hold and later rejected a few months later. So we wait…

+1 hold [emoji239]/13 OOS strong ties LM [emoji239]2

I found this comment from the 2021-2022 thread directly from UA Tucson's Admissions Office:

"Hello everyone!! I want to help clarify a few of the questions regarding our interview hold (IH) status. Each round we select 30 applicants to interview. If you are not selected to interview in that round, we place you on an interview hold. Each week we re-review applicants from the IH status. Hope that helps!"

Here's a more up-to-date place to look for information: UA Tucson FAQs

It says they will only be interviewing about 500 people, so that means they will take their time reading & not use up all those interviews on early submitters only, but keep on comparing to new apps that come in.
Also be sure about the prereqs for this school, like the 2 semesters or quarters of physiology required. It's not a typical pre-req
