I just got the A this morning. LDP.
Congrats! Did you get accepted from WL or straight from the interview?

Hey, I was accepted straight from interview.

I was on the waitlist two cycles ago though, didn’t get a spot, took a break from the whole application thing. And decided to try again this year.

Has anyone that interviewed in September recently heard back? I'm wondering how it takes almost 6 months to make a decision.

i interviewed at the very end of august and still havent heard back haha so i feel u… got a call a few weeks ago asking if i was still interested which at this point i just kinda wanna know the outcome lol

I got my II mid November and haven't heard anything back, I emailed them and asked when I could expect a decision and they basically told me to be patient 😭

Got my decision this morning, alternate for LDP Erie Campus. Interview Invite 11/12, sent a letter of continued interest 2/6. I applied with AIS score (119).

that's crazy. i interviewed early/mid october and it's frustrating to see people who interviewed more than a month after me getting their decision before me, and even worse before you! (congrats to everyone regardless!) i just don't understand their process... their timeline is horrible and sporadic.

Hopefully it means it is good news. I know for me (who interviewed late October) I got WL.

How long were you on the WL two cycles ago? Before the new year or after?

I got a call today asking if I am still interested and would be able to pay the deposit in 24 hrs. I checked my portal and a decision has been made. I wonder if its a good sign and does any one know how long would it take for the email to be received.

That sounds like a good sign. You don’t need to pay a deposit if you are WL or R. Good luck!

It sounds like you will get a spot. Which learning pathway did you select?

Got a call asking if I still want to know what the decision is! They said they’ll come back with actual decisions in a few weeks

Can I ask what the portal looks like when you are put on the waitlist? Does it say a decision has been made? Is it still that striped pattern or is it solid blue?

Mine is solid blue and says “Decision” in white letters. Underneath, there are three green checkmarks that say “Application Fee” “Pathway Selection” and “Alternate Confirmation”

OOS- finalized on 02/11 and got the II invite on 02/20. did the virtual interview on 02/26 and now playing the waiting game.. does anyone know if LECOM is filled already?

Back in November. I got a call from them again but missed it due to work, tried calling back but no one answered and haven’t heard anything since🙃 planning on emailing them
Literally same boat, Early to Mid-November Interview. No email or movement up till this point, only a text asking if I would like to continue applying for the cycle, which I said yes. Its been wayy past the traditional amount of time that people are getting their decisions, so im wondering what exactly that could mean, good or bad.

Just a heads up for y’all on the WL in case you weren’t aware. If you get called to get taken off there’s an expectation to pay the full deposit in 24 hrs. Can’t speak on all the campuses but likely the same.

i interviewed in early-mid october and just heard back 2 weeks ago so i think you're on track for the "traditional" amount of time. there's people that interviewed after me that heard back before me, and people who interviewed before me that still haven't heard back. it's not a straightforward system.

Awesome, thank you so much for the comment!! Helps alot. Patiently waiting for any further DO and MD acceptances lol

still in the application completed bar, submitted secondary near the end of Sep, should I reach out?

I'm in a weird situation and could use some insight/reassurance. To preface, I already called the admissions office and left a voicemail, as well as sent an email.

I received II on 1/9, completed the II and pathway form on 1/15 (deadline 1/16), received "under further review" email on 1/21, and it has been radio silence since then until yesterday. (I did not attend an On Campus Day)

Yesterday (3/17), I checked my mailbox (snail mail), and I had received a letter from LECOM offering me a spot on the waitlist except it said I must confirm my acceptance to the waitlist by 3/10/25 (okay maybe the letter just took forever to deliver) except the letter was postmarked/dated 3/10/25 (wtf). I then double, triple, quadruple, and quintuple checked my email for a WL email (read every email in my inbox and spam one by one going back to the day I received my II and had my brother and dad do the same). I haven't had any communication with them (sent or received) since my "under further review" email on 1/21.

I then checked the portal and the 6th/final bar labeled "decision" was highlighted (A decision has been made on your application. Please wait for an e-mail update) but no other info about waitlist/alternate spot. I then wake up to an email sent at 3am central time today (3/18) stating "Your application for LECOM Erie, Seton Hill, Elmira NY, class of 2029 has been withdrawn."

Please help. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry to hear that @friedchickencurry but the letter date is just the date when you open the link. If you open it today, it would say date March 19, 2025. The actual date of that letter is your email's date and if you are OOS applicant/Canadian, they must have given you 14 days to confirm the waitlist spot.

Also, regarding calls, try giving them call early in morning around 8:30, I have called my admission representative a few times and they always answered in the morning.

Maybe try visiting the school. you never know.

Nah, OP said the letter was via snail mail/physicial letter, which is weird in itself since all of my lecom communication was electronic. Seems like a very unique situation and either comes down to the school messing up, or OP accidentally deleting that email without noticing it (unlikely, but it happens more than you would think.) The only thing you can do now is wait for the school to reply and go from there.

they sent my decision in electronic form and also a physical letter that i received about a week later.

weird.... i've gotten WL'd at both LECOMs before, and neither one sent a physical copy, and its been months. The timeline of events at least for me were, an email saying a decision was made, a link to view my decision letter, decision letter saying I was on WL, and I had to confirm my WL seperately on the portal. Was yours an acceptance letter or just a waitlist notification?

WL. same timeline as you, except that a physical letter came in a week later.

does anyone else have the immunization button in their portal that says “welcome entering class” but not have their decision yet?

I have it as well (momentarily got my hopes up lool). But, according to someone over at the LECOM subreddit they are adding it as a new feature and seems like many people are seeing it on their portal.

Update on this. An admission representative called me and said that they always send out an email and physical mail for their decision notifications but they somehow just forgot to send me an email. They now sent me the proper WL letter and reset the deadline to later so that I could accept it so it all ended up working out. My only concern is that because I was only placed on the WL 2-3 weeks after I should have been, will that affect my chances of getting off the WL?

only if their waitlist is ranked in chronological order. if it's ranked by something else (stats, interview score, etc) or unranked then it shouldn't matter.
