How long after y’all submitted the AACOMAS app did you receive the secondary? I haven’t submitted mine yet but plan to next week.

Clarification, the secondary was attached to AACOMAS, I received an email detailing how to log into my portal. 🙂

Oh okay ya I figured the supplemental questions were included. Thought y’all were talking about more 🫠

I believe Philly has a separate fee and application. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong though

Has anyone else gotten an acceptance yet?
I’m still at 6 bars on the portal post II. Friday will be 2 weeks but I mean they said it could take up to 6 weeks for a decision. I’m unsure how frequently they meet

It was great, I really enjoyed the school and especially the people there. Everyone seemed very happy and content with their decision to either move to Moultrie as faculty or as a student. It truly felt like a familial environment. As far as the interview, I can’t really give any specifics because they were pretty serious about not discussing your interview with others, but I’ll tell you just to be yourself. Truly. It was conversational and I actually had a good time. Go over some of the common interview questions you can find on here and just relax. It’s a full day of stuff with the interview last so you’ll have time to settle in with the others there that day and really talk to the student ambassadors. They will give you their honest opinion of the school

Did they tell you what the schedule was like? how many times do you have to go on campus or is there a chance classes are recorded?

They didn’t tell us the exact schedule but there is no attendance policy and all classes are recorded. There are some mandatory things like OMM lab that you obviously must be present for but it seemed kind of split on who goes to class and who doesn’t. It just really depends on how you learn best! I’ve also heard from multiple people that Moultrie has some of the best lecturers so other campuses will listen to these recordings. All 3 campuses take the exact same exam/quiz on the same day with the exact same questions

Tysm for this info! Did they cover how often they take exams?

Are there any current students on this thread that could give me some advice on the double blind interview at PCOM?

I interviewed last year and although we are not allowed to say much, it really is just a conversation. They know nothing about you (including your grades) so they'll just ask you questions about yourself. It can be two faculty members or alum, mine was very chill.

Does anyone know the deadline to accept your spot once you've been accepted?

I think around December you have to pay like a $250 or $500 deposit to save your seat but it’s non binding. I think you have to decide officially by around May next year.

Well, just got a call to reschedule my interview because of the hurricane. New interview date is in November

oh man sorry to hear that. I guess they don't want to move around their October interviews? The hurricane is coming directly to GA so I understand this will probably slow down a bunch of things.

To be fair, i'm zooming in, so they have a lot less virtual interview dates open.

I believe their post interview acceptance rate is pretty high. they only interview about 300 applicants. theres no specific data that I've found, though.

I interviewed on 9/9! So it took around a month. But then again, hurricane Helene did hit us during my turnaround time

Good luck! I really liked my interview with the school. Make sure you prep your reasons for why you're interested in going to a school serving rural communities 🙂
Thank you!
