So for the email they just sent out saying you "must" select them for the AAMC Plan to Enroll feature- do we actually have to do this if we are still unsure where we will be attending? And if you do pick them for this, will it alert every other school that you have not selected them?

you can plan to enroll in as many schools as youd like until april 15th, where you narrow it down to three. then on april 30th you narrow it down to 1.

might as well select them in the meantime when it opens!

I dont know what it looks like from the admissions perspective, but I know they cant see which schools you've planned to enroll in

That's not quite right, @ecobio
You only list 1 school as your PTE school at a time.
You can change it if you change your mind.

I don't see any advantage of listing a school very early (knowing what each school tells you as their deadline is important though) because if you get more offers you might choose differently.
Know the deadlines & mark one as PTE just before your deadline.

So by them saying we "must" select them, would you take this as if you don't they may move on from you? Or can they not do that to an accepted student?

Read what their deadline is for selecting them as PTE.
Yes, they can set earlier deadlines than the generic CYMS tool suggests and move on from you if they don't think you will come.

No? then select this school when the tool is available.
Yes? Select them anyway to hold this spot (because they laid down the rule to you) and if you later decide on a different school, change your PTE school and eventually your CTE school.

The CYMS tool is pretty complicated so read that thing over and over.

Does anyone know if it’s acceptable to call or email and ask how many are on the waitlist or usually on the waitlist? Or would that look bad? Ik they said they don’t rank their waitlist and usually take 60 off of it on average, but want to know more
 
On msar it says 50/125 ish get accepted off waitlist in may. They waitlist most people here on out it seems and even on their website it says not to expect anything till April if waitlisted. They do rank it but they don’t reveal that to us

I don't think they will withdraw your acceptance right away if you don't select plan to enroll. Since they made the effort to send the email, I would go ahead and select it just to be safe. If you get a better offer somewhere else, you can always change it, but if this is your only acceptance, I wouldn't risk it.

off topic, but how long after y’all interview did you get your A? and was it call, email or both? thanks in advance

Can I ask when is the earliest date they offer your interview? I just want to know if the cycle is ending soon. I applied like October so I am just waiting for a miracle at this point.

The only day was Tuesday
 
I had to ask for a later date because I was out of the country last week, and they offered Monday!
 
Did anyone else just get a random email from UTHSC that their email address is invalid and it has to be changed through AMCAS if you want to receive any correspondence? Said it has been invalid since November but I received an II and communicated about an update letter since then

Can someone please tell me if there’s a separate scholarship application to fill?
 
My friends an M4 here he told me to call and ask about relative ranking on alt list. He said they said they wouldn’t tell us that on the alt list faq his year too but everyone did anyway. Has anyone tried calling?

It was very chill they asked questions from the sdn interview page, just make sure you know ur app cause they asked me some questions about that. As long as u prep questions/ stories for a handful of the sdn questions you should be good!

I'm really sorry to hear that. Hopefully y'all have some other options available. I was wondering though, were y'all waitlisted first or did y'all just recently interview?
 
Will they formally reject us if we don't hear back for an interview? Or we just won't hear anything?

just interviewed. no waitlist at all. same as last year...
