im thinking its going to happen right after their last june 10th interview concludes. maybe june 12/13? but yea, sucks that we have to wait so long this year :/

i would hope they do but the likely possibility is that they dont. they're still sending out acceptances to current interview candidates. so wouldnt be surprised if there's no update for WL candidates until mid or end june

Is there anything you all are doing—or would recommend—to stay sane while being on the waitlist this late in the cycle?

im trying to just assume I wont get in and im making the steps to prepare to my alternate school oof. but im also trying to be positive by coping that touro historically has good wl movement. plus maybe the class isn't super full if they're still doing interviews/ acceptances this late in the cycle?

from what i read it seemed it was both TUNCOM and TUCOM CA since these two operate more independently than touro harlem/montana/middletown

I spoke with a student from the school who shared there isn’t a CSME exam grade requirement for taking either exam. And the post was for Nevada, but they said that doesn’t necessarily apply to CA.

Current Touro-CA student. Can confirm this was just for Touro Nevada, sent internally to their students. Touro CA has not announced nor currently has any pre-emptive testing requirements for either COMLEX or STEP.

you can take step if you want to. they do not restrict you from doing so.

Unfortunately! I think they don't want to go over the waitlist before finishing all the interviews.

Possibly but availability has changed/ decreased since I’ve checked it so people are scheduling for interviews and it’s updating.

Can't speak on any existing groupchats but the island does still have housing either through campus groups or the class facebook. Most people sign leases in June/July.

Anecdotally, I would reccomend living on the island. I was told to do so last year and I stand by it as its so much easier to come and go from campus, hangout with friends/classmates, etc. As a first year, especially in the first semester with anatomy, you will be spending alot of time on campus.

I lived off of the island in Benicia and I liked it. I would say historically about 2/3 of the class lives on the island and 1/3 lives off of the island either in Vallejo, American Canyon, Fairfield, Benicia or some people commute from the other side of the bridge. Its all based on your preference and what you prefer in terms of livings with others, living alone, etc.

yeah for sure i mean they said friday (june 13) they were gonna send As for the last batch of interviewees. idk if any WL people have got A's? how many people are in the FB group now?
