3.6 GPA, MCAT=27, 508, 516...thoughts?

Where am I competitive? A little background...

MA resident. Graduated from a top 30 university with a B.S. in psychology, 3.6 GPA. Interested in psychiatry (major, research, clinical and volunteering are psych-related). Currently work as a Mental Health Counselor on an inpatient psychotic disorders unit.

I would use 31-32 as your MCAT score to try and predict how schools will look at your score when going through MSAR( that's a very rough guide and many schools will interpret those 3 MCAT scores differently but your score will not be looked at the same as someone who got a 516 the first time in a large number of cases). Pick schools with that median MCAT who take at least 30% OOS.

If you want to include a few reaches where your highest score(which is equivalent to a 34-35) is near their median, that's fine but that shouldnt form the majority of your list.
