I'm a current junior at a highly ranked state school. I'm looking for insight on my highest school prospects to apply for, I havent taken the MCAT yet, but I'd like to see what to aim for. I have a 3.65 cumulative, 3.74 science in major, a chemistry major, biochem minor and music performance minor.
EC: 110+ hours clinical shadowing surgery and in office
volunteer at hospital with post op patients
member and first chair of 2 performance groups on campus
Founder of a volunteer program where music majors play for our cancer center
T.A and tutor for the office of diversity and inclusion in general and organic chemistry
Office of Diversity Scholar
Director of undergraduate research at a top biochemistry lab for 2 years and have 1 original publication/ two research grants from the college
Volunteer abroad experience
I work two other jobs to pay for school on my own, barista and bartender.
Any insight possible would be helpful and I hope to gain a better understanding of what schools would be in my range/ what would be good reach! Thanks!
