Hi, everyone-
I'm currently kind of anxious about whether I'm going to get in anywhere or not. Dream school is CWRU or CCLCM but I'd be happy just about anywhere tbh. Where should I apply/where could I reasonably get in?
Current stats:
Nontrad, would be applying 2 years out of undergrad, but took classes as nondegree after graduating (wasn't premed in college, was ecology major)
cGPA: 3.9
sGPA: 3.9 (state honors college, Florida)
MCAT: practice ones currently running around 510-515 but I'm trying to improve.
1 year of research experience (thesis) and then 3 months of additional research (published, 2nd author, presented poster)
I've worked for 2 years as a medical scribe in ER and outpatient primary care and specialties (family, internal, cardiology, pulmonology, derm, obgyn, orthopedics, podiatry, general surgery). I also am a manager of medical scribes in 7 outpatient specialty clinics (~20 scribes).
Shadowing: ~40hrs outside of scribing
Volunteering: taught bio at Title I schools for a few hours a week for a few months in college, caregiving at hospice a few hours a week for a few months.
ECs: mostly just theater stuff in undergrad
Where should I apply? Where can I reasonably get in? Where would be the best areas to improve?
