A few people have requested to see my 3-week study schedule since I posted my breakdown https://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/dat-done-25aa-24-ts-25-pat-3-week-study-schedule.1237745/ . I scored a 25AA, 24TS, and 25PAT. I had 21 days of studying and 3 days of rest. Two of my rest days are not included here (just add them in your schedule on days that seem right), but the third was the day before the test. I added the times in the first few weeks after I was done. They are not exact, but they are rough estimates on how long I was spending on certain things during my hardcore study period (the first 9 days). Also, I have never used 2 column notes before, but I used them for everything while studying and it helped tremendously. For bio, I used 6 different colored pens and switched colors whenever I made a new row in my notes (it made them much easier to look at).

I studied every day from 8:00am to 8:00pm with an hour break for lunch. Some days I was done by 6:00, but most days took the full 11 hours. I was never done more than 15 minutes early during the first 9 days. I don’t recommend going past 8:00. I just did it once when it was the day before a rest day. Just find a good stopping point and pick up the next day. Make sure to get enough sleep. There is nothing worse than trying to study when you are struggling to keep your eyes open.

Let me know if you have any questions. It looks daunting, but after I got through the first 9 days, it really wasn’t bad at all.

Thanks for the schedule man! When you were doing the Math Destroyer tests were they untimed?

No problem. I did them timed, but you don't need to. With this being said, I wouldn't take more than an hour per test. Try to do at least one or two timed tests in Math Destroyer. I took both of mine timed.

Thank you so much! That is very helpful, I'll try to expand it on 5 to 6 weeks to make it work for me.

Been following your schedule so far through the first week and I love it. About how long would you spend working on the PAT generators on days you were not taking a PAT test, example day 9 or day 11?

I apologize for not getting back to you. I stopped getting email notifications for some reason. I’m assuming you already took your test. I hope it went well!

For anyone still interested, I don’t think I ever studied PAT for more than an hour a day. It was always the last 30-45 minutes of my day because I thought it was the least mentally exhausting.

Thanks so much for this! I’m looking to take my test by August of this summer and I was really thinking it was impossible before I came across your threads considering I have to retake orgo 1 this summer (transfer student, didnt fail it lol)

I was also on the fence about Bootcamp but it seems to be the way to go in regards to a short study time. I feel so unprepared yet determined....

No problem! Taking orgo 1 while preparing for the DAT will help tremendously! You won’t need to study much of orgo outside of what you’re doing for class.

I think everyone starts their studying feeling extremely unprepared. After a while, you’ll feel like you already know most of the info you’re studying. A lot of DAT prep is just brushing up on things you’ve already learned. As long as you’re determined, you will do great!

How did you manage to do so well on the PAT by only doing generator the last hour of the day? I feel like it's hard to improve on DAT that significantly in 21 days. Any words of advice?

I just did in-depth studying (YouTube videos mostly) on each individual section for about an hour each for the first week. After that, I found cube counting and hole punching to be pretty easy. For the next 2 weeks, I just did practice problems focused on the other sections knowing I could get ~100% on the 2 easier sections. I just hoped to miss only a few on the others. After looking at them every day, they get easier and easier. TFE and Keyhole will always have a few bizarre questions. Just take your best guess, move on, and spend more time on questions you have a better chance at finding the right answer.

Thanks so much! I hope so! Can I ask, for your studying of bio and watching videos and such did you just take notes? Was there any specific way you did it? Just curious!

I used 2-column notes for everything and alternated colors for each topic. It made my notes easy to look at.

Many thanks! My DAT is coming up quick and I've watched almost all of Chads GC and OC (the free ones on CoursePrep). I have about 5 chapters left in each course. I noticed on your schedule you did not go through all the videos? I'm trying to prioritize my studying and I'm worrying about spending too much time on Chads. Did you watch all his videos or how did you go about that? Also, where can I find Chads QR videos? If anyone could provide a link that would be much appreciated! ☺

A few people have requested to see my 3-week study schedule since I posted my breakdown DAT Done: 25AA, 24 TS, 25 PAT; 3 week study Schedule . I scored a 25AA, 24TS, and 25PAT. Day 23

-TEST DAY

Many thanks! My DAT is coming up quick and I've watched almost all of Chads GC and OC (the free ones on CoursePrep). I have about 5 chapters left in each course. I noticed on your schedule you did not go through all the videos? I'm trying to prioritize my studying and I'm worrying about spending too much time on Chads. Did you watch all his videos or how did you go about that? Also, where can I find Chads QR videos? If anyone could provide a link that would be much appreciated! ☺
You’re welcome! I watched all the chemistry and QR videos. Here’s a link to access all of them: DAT Videos | CourseSaver

Hello, thank you for your post! Is there a particular reason why you chose to read and learn Cliff’s AP Biology over the Biology notes offered by Bootcamp? Congratulations on your amazing scores!!

A few people have requested to see my 3-week study schedule since I posted my breakdown DAT Done: 25AA, 24 TS, 25 PAT; 3 week study Schedule . I scored a 25AA, 24TS, and 25PAT.

Day 23

-TEST DAY

I don’t remember if that was offered by bootcamp while I was studying. If it was, I didn’t really have a reason. I just thought Cliffs was a quick way to get through the bulk of info in bio. From what I’ve seen, bootcamp has gotten way more expensive than when I studied and I’d probably find a cheaper resource at this point (if it exists). It’s unfortunate how expensive the prep materials have become.

Got it, thank you for the clarification!

So, I noticed you didn't finish destroyer. I'm assuming you just did those few problems just for the sake of practice? Since bootcamp has those practice exams you thought it was a good idea just to use BC for practice as opposed to going through all of destroyer?

Yes, exactly.

Are Chad's QR videos not available anymore? The only one I see on Course Saver is "0" Ratios and Proportions.

They are there. It's just a weird formatting thing. They aren't the best videos though, and they're outdated.
