I just finished up an internship (basically worked fulltime all summer) and I had a few days to study but not extensively. I was just wondering if 34 was enough time to prepare for the exam (9/12 exam)?

Depends on you. If you understand te subjects well then possibly. If you are rusty then prolly not. All depends. However, if you are gonna do a thorough content review, getting in a lot
of FL exams might be tough.

I don't think you have time for much content review.

To start, I'd suggest taking AAMC #3 (the free one). Treat it like the real thing. Then look at your score afterward and ask yourself if that's close to what your goal is. If you are way off (10+ points), that would be almost impossible to make up in 1 month.

Personally, I started studying with 18 days left. (i wrote the PCAT just prior so I only had to slightly review physics and minor parts of ochem) I winged AAMC 3 and was at 29. (VR I got 7 LOL) So.. You'll be fine if you know your stuff. Don't force yourself to do practice problems... Just understand how to use and abuse the formulas. Honestly, in the PS section I have no idea what the question is asking sometimes (PS section) but you can infer information from the passage even if you don't understand 100% (I found that I can get the questions right 90% of the time still unless I misread.. which seems to happen sometimes). The practice exam passages explain the harder, less seen physics stuff (seemed like the first year stuff like fluids, waves, and stuff like that) but the kinematics, forces, conservation of energy/momentum you definitely need to know like your eyelids.

You can do it, of course, depending on your background knowledge.

i wouldnt do it with 34 days but just take a practice exam and if you are already hitting in the 30's than I say just brush up and go for it, but I dont think thats enough time to learn and practice all the material if you arent already up to date and fresh with it.

I'm super rusty so as of now it's gonna take me a little over 4 months to do content and practice test (like a lot of FLs)

I reviewed all last summer and chickened out to take the test bc my bio wasnt breaking a 10, but my verbal and PS are still ranging from 10-14. On AAMC 3 I scored a 32. But that was the last week of May, before my internship began. But I think I can do it! Thanks all!
