today i received my application complete card from NYU.

HI ' hieveryone" how much can u verify ur above statement since i know a couple of very early applicants who havent heard anything as yet..... Jus need to know whats going on in teh NYU front !

as u can see thru the msg on this thread people including me r so confused ....
we all want to know what is goin on there ......
what we know of sure after callin NYU is they r starting interviews from 22 jan ...
any idea whom they r calling like on the basis of early application or nationality or work experience ( stats is understood )

any piece of info may ease the tension here on the thread ............

i also applied in nyu. but i ve only feeble chances of getting in as my scores are low.
my question is ,can somebody tell the estimated fees in nyu per annum. i'm confused on hearing differently from people.
pls share ur views

why bother about expenses , when you are not sure of throwing the party?..

when you know scores are low, why don't you work on them instead of being helpless, worrying about the chances...

hope you take it in a right way...

i take it in the right sense. i know my scores are low and i started working on that.as like anyone i also got depressed initially , but not now. just like that when i got confused reading diff opinions regarding fees , i thought i'll clarify that in sdn.my scores being low doesnt mean that i cannot think abt other things right?

I received invitation for interview today but will be declining so somebody else can have a chance... Good luck for those of you waiting...

Hi friends,I got a call for NYU
my stats are
part 1 -89 (new)
part 2 -82 (score not been sent though)
GPA - 3.12 (ece)
Toefl - 250
work exp - 6 months (india) none in US
Applied - august 07
Application confirmation received - never
Interview - 17th jan
I think I have included everything,still fell free to ask if anyone has any doubt...
Today is the first day of interview according to the NYU,not sure though...good luck 4 all who r waiting...

I applied in September and I got a call on Jan 14th.
 
hey anybody hav some idea how many student they interview in total and how many seats they have ......
last yr they were also interviewing the 4yr dds student along with the international graduate ...( it happened with our batch, dont know about other batches)

Hi. contrats for ur interview and thanks for the detailed information.As u went through procedure,u can tell a little bit abt me.I have score of 85 in part 1 and i applied in mid. dec.i have a gpa of 3.78.its really frustrating for me.i dont know whether i should start study again or will i get an interview call.as u went through procedure could u tell ur view???
 
i feel u should wait for NYU,i feel like u will get accepted,if not till april then u can retake ur part 1 and take part 2 also for next yr's admissions for better chances...

Sorry to reply late. But I hv alrdy been interviewd at BU and USC long time back. No good news as of now... So NYU the only hope. By the way u can add one Masters degree to my stats which I am getting by end of April. 🙁🙁

DID ANYBODY GOT INTERVIEW CALL FOR THIS WEEK,PLEASE POST THE STATUS.

sorry for the delayed response!well i spoke to kevin on the 22nd of this month...and luckily i got to meet a bunch of anxious interviewees!i gave a partial tour of the school and sat for the Q and A ROUND,where the adv.placement interviwees had loads of questions..and i was answering them..
well anywayz,they r calling people first based on scores of 85 and plus ( new pattern)!i'm sure they r gonna come down gradually with time!..it has nothing to do with nationality though...but yes..the sooner u apply better r the chances to be called for the interview!

a quick question,
do you think old pattern with 86 and above are considered along with the scores of 85 and plus (new pattern) for the initial rounds?....

My scores are part 1 87 old pattern,part 2 76
Toefl 97 ,Gpa @.64
Did any body get interview who appied in late october or early november?
 
maybe..itz hard to tell.....!i'm not in the admissions committee!!:meanie:
