I am frustrated. I want need a NYC or Philadelphia interview. a bunch of schools got just about up to my complete date and then just like stopped giving out interviews. i just want to know already! it's not like i expect interviews at these schools, i just wish they'd either reject me once they're done looking at my folder or invite me...i hate limbo. i guess i should be happy i don't have any rejections yet wtih my GPA and beggars can't be choosers, hopefully i'll be calmer after next week if i am so lucky as to get an acceptance.

haha well i wasn't going to write about wanting other people to get interview slots at the schools i want to go to, in fact i'm getting a little tired of seeing that happen. And they have antibiotics and condoms for that... although in your case it appears to be too late on the condom front. Good luck with that buddy

I know what you mean. Same thing has happened to me now....TWICE!! I'm really not superstitious yet I find myself posting on here religiously nowadays.

As for you lucky thready, please keep your magic coming my way...sonner than later.

It has now been 4 weeks without hearing a peep. I have been complete at most schools between mid-august and late september. What is taking so long?

Also, question: if it says that I have been complete / "under review" for some time now at some schools, but I haven't heard anything from them yet, are there any assumptions I can make (i.e. they have looked at my file but have decided to wait / reject me)? It's driving me insane, all this speculation.

Come on med school gods! Let it rain interviews!

The thread worked... The day I posted my second angsty reply to this thread, I received an invitation to interview at... um... Harvard 😱. I'm still not sure if Harvard Medical School actually wants me or if they'd just like to give me an excuse to go to Boston. Words fail to describe how undeservingly lucky I feel. This thread truly is magical.

Hey all,

Keep your chins up and don't lose hope. I am a FL resident with a 30 O mcat and 3.7 GPA at UF, and I sent most of my sec. apps in August and September. The first time I read this thread was last morning, and I was bummed out that I hadn't heard from any school as well.

But an hour later, Albert Einstein at Yeshiva University sent me an Interview email. A bizzarre thing was that I recieved an email on 10/02 that my application was complete, then on 10/11 I get the invite. This is the magic thread as far as I am concerned. And maybe friday will be a mass invite day for a lt of schools. Good luck
