Man I really hate those schools which have a time limit for you to do their secondaries and then they take forever to get back to you.

Keep in mind tomorrow is a holiday for some schools.
 
I can't resist! It worked last week- come on, work this week, too!

(I was answering a friend's question last night, "How many other interviews do you have?"..."None." ... " (awkward silence) Oh. (awkward silence) Well, let's hope that one works out." :laugh: Poor guy.)

5 weeks! ...5 weeks since my last interview invite...bring me some magic, magic thread!!
 
august 29th was my last interview invitation, the last of the early flurry of invites. i had heard nothing from then until this morning (~ 10 wks?) when i got another invite from ohio state. so hiatus is just that - hiatus.

Since my inbox brought me glee

November draws near
Some more interviews for me?
Oh well, I guess not.

yay Sandlot! I feel like my interview flood came around the same time as yours and so there is hope that I will still get some more!
 
I am a thread agnostic, but desperate times require desperate measures. :luck: At this point, I'm about to send baked goods to the adcoms to convince them that they'd like to interview me.

yeah seriously, it's been over a month for me now. i think the problem is that too many people are stealing the luck the original posters had!

LOL, being an Idaho resident sucks. I'm competing against 100+ apps for 8 seats at UofU and several hundered for a couple UW seats. Please o interview thread, grant thine approval for other schools' interviews upon me.

I would especially love to have good news from two schools whose names start with 'M'. I think I may hear back from them this week (hopefully! if it's not good news though, then I don't mind being patient and waiting longer). Of course, I would welcome any good news from any school, as I am not one to discriminate, especially not based on the letter of the alphabet that a school's name begins with. Good news, please!
 
So from what it seems like on the interview lists and the rejection lists, there are four or five schools who are just about getting to my complete date in their reviews....if any of these schools, specifically BU, NYU, Cornell, Mount Sinai or Penn, wanted to send a little positive feedback my way, i'd be eternally greatful. not that i'm not happy with the ones i have, because of course i am...but i still wouldn't mind a few more schools to be in love with, since my romantic love life seems to have dried up.
OMG while i was writing this, my gmail inbox developed a (1) next to it, so i opened it, and it was an email from Brown, and i got so so so excited, then i remembered that i already had an invite from brown and already got that excited, and realized it was hotel recommendations and stuff. lol this thread is toying with me. i am just greatful for any email to open at this point, especially one from them, so i cannot complain.
 
This sucks. Please, Please, Please give me more interviews.
 
I feel like medical schools are playing keep away from me with the interview offers at this point. I am just grateful I was able to snag some early or else I would really be going nuts. Here's to good luck this week. Do you guys think med schools will start giving more definitive answers (basically anything other than "under review") after the last MCAT is reported out on Oct. 15th?
 
It worked...heard back from one school the same day and Ohio state invite in less than a week from posting
