They are real. UNC and Duke students are known to do real well on the MCAT. I believe it was Peterock who said he knew 5 people who got a 40 on their MCAT in a single year at Duke when he was there. Goldwater scholarships are also something he mentioned a lot of students out there get at Duke and UNC. He said something along those lines.
But again, I don't think its fair to insinuate people are liars. This poster seems quite genuine.
I believe the only reason they are without interviews is because they just got the scores back. I know at Florida schools, the earliest was December for USF for August MCAT test takers. Last fall, a lot of SDN people got interviews in November some time. Not saying its not possible to get them earlier, but most got them later. Its just the unfair disadvantage of taking an August MCAT. Had this poster been a earlier applicant, I'm sure they would have gotten interviews by now.
