imo...mid november is slightly later than normal...so that could have hurt ya a little. but it is still too early to give up right now. depends on what schools you applied to but if you search for the thread on interview updates for schools...you can see when your schools are interviewing till and you can measure where you are with that.
with the increased load of applicants this year, all the admissions are running slow. maybe some updates and letter of interests to keep yourself busy during this hectic time might help?

I was complete around the same time as you and I was getting pretty anxious since I hadn't heard anything, but then this week I just got three interviews.
I think things might move more for us late-ish applicants in the next couple of weeks, so just hang in there!

How many applicants were there this year? I was under the impression that it was only one or two thousand more overall than last year.

My AMCAS was verified in mid-November 😱
I applied to 24 schools and have six rejections and no interviews or invites. 🙁
The way things have been going I've sorta resigned myself to the fact that I'm in for a second cycle. I've posted on this before, and some info was given, it might be useful, you could do a search for it if you like. (just search for 'Subtle1Epiphany')

I thought that those helped once they had interviewed you and you had been to the school and experienced it. I guess not much could hurt me now..🙄..I should just bundle it with my update (new schedule for spring semester, fall semester grades, and new research).
Any advice? I know you've got some, you always have the greatest advice...you and Gleevec, and a few others...heheheh

As of November 6, 2003, there were about 1,000 more applicants during this cycle compared to last year (+3.5%)

Yes it did. Although it is probably not necessary to obsessively check the satus page because an email is sent.

Yes. It now has the interview date and a link to Jefferson campus page. Incidently I just checked it yesterday and it was not changed. at the time I assume they change the page and send the e-mail at the same time.
Also, the e-mail was actually sent Friday night at 11:45 pm. Go figure.

I was an August MCATer and complete once they got my scores Oct/Nov. I had my state school interview mid November, and I got two invites in early January for February interviews at MCW and GWU. I've received about 10 rejections, and have heard nothing from 15 schools. I called a few and was told that if I didn't hear by now, I wasn't going to interview. But that doesn't mean that other schools still might contact me. 😎
