Has anyone heard from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Rehabilitation Psychology/Neuropsychology Services; ID: 1474)? This is different from the Mount Sinai Beth Israel site.
Which Baylor?!?

Offered Interview Dates: Dec 19, Jan 10, Jan 11, Jan 22
Yay 😀 finally a break from the rejections!
Congrats on both! What track for the Miami VA? And any chance you can share info. on whether the notification was by email and the interview dates?
Depends a lot on what sector of psychology you are going into and also the setting in which you would like to work. For many specialty tracks (e.g. neuro, forensic, child/family etc.) many post-docs will have a requirement that their applicants have completed an APA-accredited internship. Also licensing boards in certain states and board certification standards require completion of an APA-accredited internship (or you have to prove that you received the equivalent of that under a qualified supervisor). I think general and school psychology tracks are more lenient when it comes to these requirements. Also, it will be easier to get by without an APA-accredited internship if you are planning on going into private practice versus if you are trying to get a position in the VA, an academic medical center, or top tier hospital etc.

No this is different 🙂Is this the one also called University of Tennessee Health Science Center?

Still waiting to hear from Texas State also, glad to know I'm not alone...
Seems like it could be helpful for future applicants to know that McLean ended up doing not even 2, but 3 rounds of invites for the same (Adult) track, spaced out throughout the day!Official Site Name: McLean Hospital Harvard Medical School
Date Invitation Received: 12/3
Method of Invitation (Phone call, personal/mass email, snapchat): mass email
Specialty Track or Site (e.g., for consortiums): Adult
Offered Interview Dates: 1/7, 1/11, 1/14, 1/18
I'm sure someone else will have a better answer to this, and it depends on what your degree is in (mine is Clinical), but I do know that every single post-doc fellowship in which I am interested requires an APA-accredited internship. It is not an uncommon requirement so doing some research on those might be worthwhile. Regarding licensure, that likely depends on state but I have been told that requirements are becoming more stringent every year. Further, if you're planning to pursue board-certification, that's another thing to keep in mind.
Baylor!!!! Finally!

Is the OHSU interview a half day or full day? Does it have times? I’m trying to figure out when to put a different interview in case I get this one.

So i'm trying to book one of my flights and the cost is incredibly expensive. I'm talking like...$450-$500 due to the time of year.
I legitimately don't know what to do. I don't have this kind of money...this process is the worst.

Its a full day (8:15a-4:30p).
I totally get that. Scheduling is starting to get tight for me at this point.

Oooh what does that do?I always use kayak! On incognito mode, or clearing cookies before looking up flights...

I had to ask two sites to change interview dates and they were both super understanding and kind about it. They know we haven't been making any money in grad school and that this is a very expensive process! And if they don't, they may not be an awesome place to be?What is the consensus on contacting a site and asking if an interview can be moved? I have one interview in California on Jan 18 and just received another one on Jan 7. I know the Jan 18 site has an interview day on Jan 4....I asked for it originally but I wasn't given it.
Do you think it looks bad to the site to ask? I'm coming from New York so flying to CA twice in a 2 week span is really challenging....
Kayak is super cheap, and ive heard rumors that each time you look up a flight to somewhere the website can log that to show more expensive flights bc you "really want to go" and so they know youll get more desperate. Could be conspiracy theory, but my flights tend to stay cheap!Oooh what does that do?
I love a good conspiracy theory, I'm definitely going to try this for my remaining flights!Kayak is super cheap, and ive heard rumors that each time you look up a flight to somewhere the website can log that to show more expensive flights bc you "really want to go" and so they know youll get more desperate.
