I'm right there with you. This process has been much more emotionally draining than I anticipated. I'm certain that many others can relate to feelings of ambivalence about wanting more information about which sites have sent out invitations or rejections vs. feeling like SDN/email checking is unhelpful. It's completely understandable to want to take a step back and shows great insight and self-respect to honor your intuition about that. I hope you have some time today to do something fun and relaxing because you deserve it 🙂

Last night I had a dream that I was in an airport and over the intercom they kept announcing interview invites (obnoxious I know) and I specifically remember them saying "Edith Nourse Rogers VA invites are now in" hahaha. And the funniest part is that I didn't even apply there! I'm psychic you guys 🙂

Still radio silence on my end, too. It's pretty frustrating given that all of my other friends are hearing from different places (none that I applied to). I just found out that one of the fellow applicants that I know pretty well has an absurd amount of interviews and I just can't believe it. Feeling lots of things right now, guys.
 
Did anyone hear from Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology/Educational Psychology QLI site? I saw on the forum that many of the sites in the consortium sent out invites however I never saw anything about invites for the QLI site. I know the notification deadline was December 1st and I still havent heard either way.

For most interviews I am flying out the night of so that I don't have to worry about paying for another night at a hotel.

Looks like invites got sent 5 December last year -- so we may have to wait another day or so.

Decided to preemptively mourn my rejection from Einstein. They receive 350+ apps annually and historically, have accepted students from surrounding tri-state area schools. We'll see-- just trying to hedge bets and manage expectations.

From my experience last year, none of my sites had any offsite social activities the night before or night after. My sites had built-in times during the interview day where we got to ask interns questions in a more low-key setting (e.g., lunch, question and answer period without faculty present).

Here is my guess on what is happening with the Orlando VA. From what I can see the past 3 years that have had phase two openings. The first invite round went out before their applications we due. I think that they must have decided to invite some candidates early to have a greater chance of scheduling people for interviews and maybe reduce risk of being in round 2. Maybe? It's certainly strange to invite one group so early and then say nothing later. They've historically notified on the 19th. I suspect there is a second wave coming around then. This is just speculation from this message board, not any inside info.
