Army Baylor DPT Application (Applying 2018 for 2020 start)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hi everyone! I applied this cycle for Army-Baylor too. My recruiter told me that the board started meeting on the 26th and will continue until the 1st of March. Seems like in past years they heard back about 1.5 to 2 weeks after board meets. This waiting has been excruciating!!

Anybody else have to deny a program yet? I applied to UCF & Army Baylor, got accepted to UCF, but was given a deadline of February 15th to make my final decision. Decided to withdraw my application from UCF in hopes of Army Baylor working out. Gotta go for gold, haha.

Had some people tell me that I should accept UCF and just withdraw my application later if I got in to Army Baylor, but I decided against it in the case that I decided I'd rather reapply to Army Baylor next cycle. That way next year I'd still be on good terms with UCF if this situation were to happen again.

I believe that you could accept a slot at another school by paying the deposit. Then, if you get into Army-Baylor you can drop the deposit and take your Army-Baylor slot. If not, you have UCF or you could decide to drop your slot from that point. You lose a deposit of usually around $400 but I think it would have been worth it.

Anyone heard anything at all from your recruiters? I have a feeling we will be hearing either by the end of this week or the beginning of next week, but I don't know...

No way! Awesome! I tried to PM you but it isn't working. I would love to somehow send you my contact info so we can talk about AF related things as we move forward but I am not sure how to do that exactly haha.

Have all recruiters received the board results, because mine is saying he hasn't received anything yet.

Thanks

I think I PM'd you! Let me know if you get it haha.

It is probably best to contact Mr Stephens or your recruiter for that question. He does try to help guide applicants who are managing multiple offers and deposits. We do not charge a deposit and understand the need for information to guide decisions.

Congratulations to all accepted! I am applying this cycle, and am wondering what the stats of an accepted student look like? Thanks!

Congrats to all that got accepted!

Are there any Air Force applicants that got accepted on here? I am applying again this year and am hoping for some guidance/advice with the Air Force specific process.

Greetings! I'm a newly registered member on here and was reaching out to see if you had gotten any PM's about your post? I'm a current AF Officer looking to apply in the 2021 cycle.

How does the preference of branch work? If someone were to list Navy or Air Force as their first choice, would they have less of a chance of being accepted to the program due to the limited seats for these branches, or are the applicants first accepted, then assigned a branch?
