I realize you don't 'get it', but this is bordering on strategy.

Dead people should not post anything that may influence an active player's thinking. It's not just whether you're posting "info" or not - it's whether you are posting something that may give someone pause for a moment, may make them reconsider, etc. Even if it is subtle. Even if you think "oh c'mon, I'm just joking."

If you have even the slightest bit of doubt, you should not post. If you feel like you don't understand what I'm telling you then your best bet is to restrict yourself to either not posting (best) or just keep it very, very, very confined to "go wolves|villagers".

And then I was trying to figure out how the wolves got so many villagers with roles killed so quickly. So my guess is that STL lied about knowing who the protector is, since FB wasn't killed until N4. STL seered someone N1, and my guess is that was vetmedhead, which is why she was killed N3 after WTF but before FB. So how did the wolves figure out that FB was the protector? FB posted about the strongman role, and liked a couple of Jilary's posts on the subject. I suppose any wolf could observe that and make an educated guess, since the wolves would know about that role too. But it would really throw up a flag if Jilary was a wolf, and saw those posts of hers being liked by FB.

So those are my thoughts on Jilary. Anyone else think the same way?

Wolves jump on bandwagons of other wolves, it's just the right thing to do. I didn't vote to lynch STL right away because I wanted some discussion first before reaching plurality (something I've said many times in this game). I think more often than not, plurality helps wolves, not villagers. The over paranoid WWer in me also wasn't 100% sure I wanted to believe WTF when she first outed herself. I thought she would have found a more subtle way of lynching STL if she were the seer. I thought it was possible that she was a wolf and just wanted us to lynch our seer to ensure his death to avoid worrying about the protector. In retrospect that would have been a stupid wolf move. Also, after I made my post reacting to WTF's post, I didn't come back on the thread because I was at my high school reunion and quite intoxicated.

I suspect we don't have any more villagers with roles, so it that likely is no longer playing into who the wolves kill. I also don't believe that posting prior to dy's vanillager post means much. I almost posted prior to that because I happened to be online, but I didn't have anything to say yet.

P.S. I'm a vanillager if that's not already obvious. So I didn't receive a mod pm alerting me that the game has started, and I still happened to be around at that time.

Didn't we think there was a villager assassin that took out someone mid round the other day? Did we decide that was something else? Unless we think that was a one and done?
 
And to respond to ab3's taunting, I think we are actually rocking it, or average at least. 28ppl game means we mostly think 4 wolves or so, so with 14 ppl left and 2 wolves down, we have gotten what random chance would predict we would have. With such a difference in wolves to villagers, most lynches are of villagers. Just a way of life in ww.
 
Will anyone own up to 'being blocked'? Especially a vanillager that blocking wouldn't have done anything. I still buy the strongman move, but if someone else has been blocked then maybe they did know fb and blocked him. If they knew the seer and tracker, logistical those are more threatening than a protector that they can block/avoid

I have not been told of any blocking. But would dyachei mention blocking to a vanillager if it will have no effect on them? Some mods don't even mention it if the action has no effect.

She thought I was stalling for time a day ago when rocky was up for lynch. I didn't feel like rocky was a wolf, but couldn't decide who seemed like the best candidate for being a wolf.

I have a fairly odd schedule compared to the majority of our other players. I stayed up way past my bedtime in order to reread and try to make an informed choice. I'm assuming BSC took my thinking out loud as trying to wait out the clock and drop a decisive vote to save a wolf near the end of lynch, which isn't what happened.
 
I was thinking about going back to my vote yesterday and lynching BBC. But the fact that it's almost halfway through the day and they haven't checked in yet, doesn't seem quite like a wolf move to me. I don't know who posted it before, but I do feel like wolves stay more tuned in and try to be more aware of the game as well.

Is this self incriminating, as I hadn't checked in yet up to this point either? Maybe I should just stop running my mouth late at night.

i don't think you can really apply normal behavior on a holiday weekend. Some people are more into holidays with family etc, and some people could care less about holidays. Based on the number of my posts in this "day" cycle, you can guess which category I am in.

It's definitely possible. I don't really know what happened with that weird mid-day kill. Hopefully a once a done?

I sort of wish I hadn't made the "no more named villagers" comment as I'm afraid discussing that may help the wolves find other named villagers if there are still any out there.

Even without holiday weekends, some people have busy days and can't check in. It happens to wolves and villagers.
 
There was discussion about voting patterns...honestly I find it hard to glean anything useful from them most of the time. A good wolf isn't going to have a difficult time manipulating that bit of data, especially if you're only looking at who they vote for and not when and in what context. A turning point vote that gets a wolf lynched instead of a villager is very different from a weak early vote on a wolf. As for not voting for wolves, I agree with SOV that most often that's more villager than wolf, especially in the case of info based bandwagons. The right move in a situation like the STL lynch was to lynch STL, because that info was there. No reason for a wolf to not vote for him there.

This reply has been sticking in my head.

When I first thought LIS was off when I joined the game he was all "do what you think is right", and now he is all "you are FOS".

Now I just need to decide if LIS is more likely to be mercurial as a wolf or a villager or doesn't matter. Probably more a function of how stressful his last shift was, but it does stick out.

I was never informed of being blocked this game, but I still think it's possible/likely there is a blocker in this game. While I still like idea of a strongman role, I feel that is less likely now that our protector came up dead so quickly.

Yes, looks at how myself or dvmd analyze votes, when and how make much more impact to me then ultimately who.

At this point I'm leaning towards us needing to hear a 'I told you so' instead of everyone say it every day, a few limp votes, and then you turn out to be a wolf and everyone be upset they never followed thru with their feels. I'll be sad to lose an active and strong villager, but won't second guess my decision. Unless good evidence to the contrary or another good candidate comes up, your my huckleberry

I could also apply this logic and tactic towards SOV.

Sadly i don't think there is much evidence any of us can provide at this point to defend oneself, and most of these lynches are going to go off of feels.

I, again agree, vets are out there as wolves, mainly cause there are a lot of us left, which means the odds are for a veteran wolf or two.
