BCPM Gpa: Do my research lab credits count?

At our school, like many, you can receive course credit for being in a lab and doing research. I am in a molecular biophysics lab where I receive course credit for it. We receive grades for this, too (I've gotten all As for this). My school counts the grades toward my GPA at the university. However, I have two questions.

1. Would these grades from research credit count toward my overall gpa on Amcas?
2. If so, could these grades from research contribute to my BCPM gpa?
