I would say there's a caveat to this.

There needs to be significant pushback from numerous people for this to actually work. As I recall, there was really only push back from myself and 1-2 others in the case of that poster, which tbh was disappointing. I can come off as a crank to many, so I barely count.

If a community like SDN is going to tolerate race scientists for the purpose of exposing them, then it should be criticized widely otherwise it's just going to look like acceptable debate among anesthesiologists. If you were reading passively as an aspiring med student or resident, you might not realize the ideas that were actually being expressed. It's no individual person's responsibility to attack those ideas (or defend the idea that race is best understood as a social construct), so if you don't want your community to find those views acceptable then banning is unfortunately the better option if enough people aren't pushing back.

(Perhaps surprisingly, I did not report Gassman.)

I think Trump will win. I hope that our democracy can stand another 4 years of Trump testing its strongholds. I don't think Americans today care enough about one another or American democracy to resist further weakening of what has made us historically so strong. We'll see.

I know Trump comes with a lot of baggage but that’s who made it through the primaries (unlike Kamala), so those are the two highly flawed candidates we have to choose from.

The race is tight. Roughly half the country will vote for either Harris or Trump. A lot of people will be disappointed next Wednesday morning. Somehow the country will survive regardless of who gets elected. But hey, maybe you’ll move to Canada with Whoopie and the other whack jobs if Trump wins.

However, this may not turn out to be helpful in persuading voters on the fence in a crucial swing state. Not sure if this is cognitive decline or revenge for being forced to step aside. No candidate is perfect everyone will be deficient in several areas, they are after all attempting to appeal to hundreds of millions of people.
You go to the election with the candidate you have not a mythical perfect candidate.
