BOWWLING TOURNAMENT GAME THREAD

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Explain why my two responses are too many when you've now made three posts about it.
Is this part of a strategy that creates destabilizing footing, in order to enhance wolf catching? Because it seems like a repetition of simple questions and regular grilling could work for that.

Ok I can now confidently proclaim myself a qualified mod for this game lol

What makes you feel so confident about AM? I have zero opinions on anyone. Other than Mel, of course, who eternally has BWE (big wolf energy).
Would be very counterproductive for a wolf to be as aggressive and stir the pot as hard this early in the game. The more passive people are as a whole, the more likely wolves are to win.

Also, vibes

That's what I thought previously, but in the noob game one of the wolves was extremely forward and was one of the most active "wolfhunters" to conceal her status and reach parity. So I can't put as much stock in that sort of thing. (Ask bluestoat, she knows!)

I’m gonna warn ya now, AM is spicy no matter what affiliation, don’t get burned by that thought process.

Not much data to go on yet, so it makes sense that there isn't too much conversation yet.

Though if we want hot takes, I can say that Animal Midwife is 85-90% likely to be village.
I agree that her game play is too aggressive for me to consider it non-village.

@Animal Midwife I'm not sure I can rephrase this well-- basically, if I were asking a lot of questions, it would be for a long con. I'd ask silly things, serious things, etc. and establish a persona of hounding people for answers. This produces data, which is good. It produces patterns of response and reactions, which is good. It can also mask when you are trying to figure out something about a specific player without seeming too unusual. There are drawbacks, though, like that it might annoy or intimidate some people.

Case in point.
I knew it wasn't going to be just "two responses." You keep asking and pushing which is usually helpful, just not with that conversation.

my three posts are not about a misreading of the rules, they're about why I gave you sketch points; a much better use of threadspace.

You can go ahead and ask another question, I'm probably going to ignore it :flame:

I don't do silly in strategy. That's just for fun. But yes, I ask people things.

Went back and read her posts in wolf and nonwolf games because she's standing out in this one, then let my hindbrain chew on it while I did other stuff. Same way I solve any problem :3
Wait you’ve figured out what games AM has wolfed in, went back and read her posts and then compared it to her village meta in the last 12 hours?

That's funny because you made your post 50 minutes after my last response and the discussion was over by that point as well. Strike one.

Can you show me specifics or lay out what you think Wolf!AM and Village!AM meta is? What in Village!AM meta matches what you see here?

I second that, I was AM's sidecar in the BoWWnty game and her attitude was similar to what I see here. I think she legit got annoyed at genny. But I also buy that genny's vote on AM was a joke and then she prolonged that conversation. The whole genny - AM discussion doesn't seem wolfy to me yet.

YES I GOT THE FIRST STRIKE!

@cubsrule4e do I get a cheesy bowling pin animation like they do at the lanes?
No, you just get to be embarrassed by this amazing score (last bowling pic of the game, promise)
PS - No idea where that one dash came from, I blame WW as a distraction or else I would have been 20 points higher

Why did you pick AM of all people?
I don't really know anyone except for Stoat, so I was trying to figure out who to vote for for this first round. AM came off as kind of abrasive at first, so I briefly considered her, but then I got the feeling that she was village and wanted to dig into it.

Could you show me the things this game that match her village!meta?
