Buffalo Unreviewed?

I just learned about SUNY Buffalo's status check page. When I checked, it says that my application is "Unreviewed". Does that mean that they have not gotten to my app yet, or does that mean I should give up hope for that school?

Well their web site says that their committee meets at specific times to review files, and I would assume that you had your interview fairly recently so they didn't get to review it yet. But since they start telling people whether they got accepted or not on Oct. 15, I guess they also tell people where in the process their files actually are. The fact that it's unreviewed doesn't mean your file had something bad on the first page which made them not review it; it simply means they didn't physically get to it yet. I gotta say that this is only my opinion; it makes sense to me. Best of luck.

No, check at the bottom to see when it was last updated. My status page was last updated on Aug 12, 2005 and I called Mr. Rosso to check on this. He told me that my file is underreview and since no decision has been made on it, it hasn't been updated. If you still have doubts, call to check in with him.
