Can I count this as an English class?

I took a class here at my undergrad called "Classical Mythology", where we read and wrote about ancient mythology. However, it's designated under the Literature department, and not the English department. Can I still count it as an ENGL class in AMCAS? Thanks!

Short answer: Probably.

Long Answer: The specific classes that schools accept for their year of english credit varies from school to school. If you want to be safe, call the medical school itself and just ask. They'll usually be pretty helpful.
