I hear SOV is a bunny rabbit. I have not much reason to believe or disbelieve the info, but I'd like to find out if the source is valid.

lynch SOV because bunnies make good food.

I am confused.... how do you have info on someone who was not in the game?

But I wasn't in the game overnight….

How do you do research on non-existence?

Not a clue. That's exactly why I'm dubious, and also why I want to find out if it was true. Because if so, it speaks to some interesting mechanic. And if not ... well, I had to pick someone to lynch anyway. So I see no downside to testing the waters.

Like I said: I received info overnight. And, like I said, I'm dubious about it. And, like I said, I have to pick someone to lynch, and I have no info on anyone else that would suggest lynching them instead, so I see no reason not to follow up on it and find out if it was just bull**** (like I sorta expect), or some game-mechanic worth knowing about.

Look. If this were mid-game and I had actual hunches to base my lynch vote off, I'd do that. But it's not, and I don't, so this seems just fine to me.

easy for you to say…
I see a huge downside…. and it is my death, a villager death…

and then I will have to haunt you with more cat gifs..

For the record, I am the cat in this GIF, LIS is the human:

eh I don't know... not sure how someone would have info night 1 to even be able to send an anon PM on.... so there is that.. they would not have been able to investigate yet...

lynch phil's lab

for now... random.....

I have whiskey tasting - will be checking in from my phone

That's dumb. You don't have to agree with my reason, but it is a reasoned approach.

It might be dumb. But I don't understand how you can have info on someone who wasn't in the game before. Unless you got info on the role that SOV replaced. Then that would make sense to me and I would be more apt to side with you. But otherwise, my vote is just as good as yours in that we really don't have much info right now, and I don't really feel right about your info yet.

I received info from someone else. And yes, I agree that I don't understand how they could have it. Which is why I specifically said that I'm curious to see if there's some new game mechanic from DVMD at play.

Since any other vote is just random, I see no reason not to test out the info. At least that way we learn something: we find out whether there's a new mechanic and the info can be trusted, or whether it's just bull**** and should be ignored the rest of the game. I see no real huge downside, and that's even with me not really believing the info (for precisely the reasons everyone's pointed out).

Put differently, I feel like this is the situation:

We can vote randomly, and we have a random chance to get a wolf. Ok.

Or, we can lynch SOV. We still have a random chance that he's a wolf; that doesn't change. AND, we get to gain info (that is, finding out whether there's some weird mechanic in play and the anonymous info can be trusted, or whether (most likely) it's bull**** and should be ignored.

So, I see no downside. Seems stupid to just throw away the opportunity to learn something just because people don't want to follow a very, very weak bit of info.

Alright alright. That's valid. I don't feel right lynching SOV right now, but I guess if you're right, I would regret it later, and it's the most info we have....unlynch LIS, lynch SOV

I think you are ignoring the fact that there was an intervening event between the time you received your message (presumably the close of night) and the time of your vote…

That is the booting of BT from the game, which no one could have predicted… so my presence is a ghost in the machine, a monkey wrench, some cliche which I can't quite recall….

You will lynch a villager and gain NO new information.
I have already name revealed to you in a PM.
I think you should use another night to test your mad scientist bunny theory.

(Btw, I wake up to bunny footprints outside my bedroom windows but have never seen a bunny yet).

Do you know exactly who this player is? Because if SOV goes down as a villager, that person should be lynched tomorrow. And I don't want to then find out that it was an anonymous message or you won't tell us. Meow. Meow. Meow.

I am apt to side with SoV on this one. The fact that this information was obtained during the NIGHT, and SoV was not added into the game until the DAY does not add up to me, and/or sit right with me. So, here is my philosophy here. If you sent the message, come out NOW and let us know how in the world you know what you know. If the person is not willing to do that they are more than likely a wolf (since our seer is dead, so no fear of dying due to being a seer), and I am 100% putting no validity into that statement. So my vote stands for now unless new information arises.

What did the scratching post do, if you don't mind sharing?

I'm thinking protective like FTB mentioned, but I don't know for sure. I was just told I enjoyed being up there.

did the mouse do anything? lol

I sent it to you.. but I really wasn't sure its purpose......

If it did do something, I wasn't told. Just that you are a good hunter. lol

***unlynch BT***

So with entering the game, you're no longer a bunny SOV ? Is that right?

Sorry, trying to skim quick before I gotta leave again.

I know nothing about bunnies.

Well, in connection with me in this game.
I do know they are fluffy and have tails, and I know they have something they throw up they have to eat, but can't remember what it is called…

Seems weird that it was N1. if you were making that **** up, wouldn't you account for that? I dunno. Seems like a stupid lie imo.

BT being booted is what's giving me doubts.

I'll be back to vote.

And I had a way worse vision of slaughter plants in my head than reality. Wow propaganda.

@LetItSnow
I have a better idea…..
Why don't we find a non-SOV player to lynch who hasn't told you their cat name, and then maybe you can see if your source is still telling the same story again, or maybe tells it to someone else to confirm.

Better safe than sorry. You can always lynch me again tomorrow.

People are talking in other groups? How come I never get included in convos?
apparently I am the only one to have reached out in my group.

These days it seems like communicating is going out of fashion, which I think is a mistake.
When I am a wolf (and admittedly, it happens a lot), I just want to mind my own business.
Communications always favors villagers, but people are so worried about getting stabbed in the back, they stay quiet.

I actually found when playing Jojo that communicating is better (ok, I did become a wolf and that helped too)….
Sure you may get stabbed in the back once in a while (sorry @shortnsweet ), but usually wolves don't want to kill people who confide in them right away cause it looks suspicious, so oftentimes you can live longer as a villager by confiding with others. Anyway that is my lecture that none of you asked for… sorry.

Well there is a reason for that. In the MLP game, I had an entire group of villagers in my group, all of which were very experienced players, and everyone was either like "I don't pm much" or just flat up "No." when I pmed them. You know that whenever I am in a group, I send pms out. I 100% agree that its a mistake, and in a game where the seer has died, communication is going to be 100% essential IMHO. And to be fair, I did actually get stabbed in the back last game (I wonder by whom?! 😛), but it still does not change my philosophy on communication. And that is not always the case with the bolded part 😛.

You are incorrect about gaining "NO" new information: We learn that there is somebody who can send anonymous messages and that they aren't worth paying attention to / trusting. That's useful information.

That said, I buy what you said in PM (SOV role-revealed to the entire Grumpy Cat group).

unlynch SOV

Heading to radiology lab 😛

Would put a gif here if I weren't on my phone

Meow. Guys have you ever tried cat nip? It's amazzzzing. I love it so much. It makes everything better and more awesome. Did you ever notice how weird paws are? I don't get all this fighting. We should all be friends and have a bonfire and sing songs together. I guess if I have to pick someone lynch stl. But I'm going go have some more catnip and just chill for awhile.

Guys...there's a way to make super concentrated catnip at home. If you'll excuse me I have some business to attend to....

Ehm. Lynch Philliab because I have no other better guesses, and I'm leaving soon; not sure if I'll be back before the deadline.

Additionally, I am curious if anyone knows who lissa tends to confide in during WW games, and if any of those people are in the ceiling cat group.

Lissa is quite a seasoned player and I think it would be pretty dumb for the seer to tell someone the first night that they are a seer. Normally, a smart person would seer someone in their group (bonus if they're the mayor) and then confide in that person the next day if that person comes back as a villager. I highly doubt Lissa confided with anyone in her group this early on, but I guess stranger things have happened.

I think the whole LIS/SOV thing is weird considering SOV's late arrival into the game so with nothing else to go on, I guess I'll lynch philliab

Philliab role revealed to me, I would say that we r probably clean. Dunno about Allie but she is claiming a nothing role in pms. From what I have heard so far, I am most inclined towards an escalla or ftb lynch. So don't go for Philliab this turn, not the best target

Unlynch EC, Lynch Allie for preservation and all.

I'm a Norwegian Forest Cat with no abilities at all. You won't be losing much, but I'm still a villager. Then again, after the last few games...I probably deserve to be lynched.

I STALK THIS WEBSITE DAILY, HOW DID I MISS THIS THREAD? :bang:

I've been stalking this thread and I gotta say these cat GIFS are awesome! :cat: Still trying to figure out how you play WW games though. 😵
