Devyn investigated her with catnip, but Escalla had climbed the scratching post which had a 20% chance of seer evasion for our wolves and 20% chance of giving protection to our villagers....
Whew. That's ulcer inducing just thinking about it. Though evasion I never expected, ever.
What I learned this game
1 - there are a lot of cute cat GIFs on the internet…
2 - I should trust Escalla as little as she trusts me.

Escalla, here is my questions, why not kill devyn the turn before? You know I was inclined towards voting SoV and I trusted you, so what was the point in setting me up? lol But well played, zero trust left on my end for you though 😛

Like SOV said....it was a lot less predictable who the wolf was and there was more room for arguments. I debated it though. However, the only way I was going to do that was if I had taken out the catnip as well and I wasn't positive on who had it (I didn't know I could evade it, so I was planning on being catnipped that day and arguing that it was a lie somehow since there was no other choice). I also wasn't sure if you would turn on SOV, I originally thought you wouldn't.
I predicted that to DVMD. No kill was the smart move for the wolves. No way to tell if you or them responsible.
It sets you up as an easy lynch…. and then she goes the next night for the easy kill.
If she kills devyn, then you are cleared as you had the yarn….. so she is likely lynched.
I about had a heart attack several times with people theorizing exactly what I planned.
This is true....
Wolves were really in a tough spot at first. Poor Phil's Lab was a wolf for all of one night before being lynched...
I was surprised to see Escalla pull out a win with how much people were suspicious of her...
For those of you that are always converted, I tried to swing it so that someone who wasn't all the time was the choice. I probably converted too early, but I was living day to day back then. Phil's Lab has been a wolf a lot recently sure, but I wanted everyone to have fun and not be mad they were a wolf
again.
I also tried keeping some of you around for longer, but then I got in pretty deep and couldn't afford to be nice any more.

My paranoia was so off the charts that I thought for sure with STL being a villager that it had to be me.....and that you were fake fighting and then you would steal devyn's scratch post (which I passed to her) in hopes that my plan to kill you was foiled.
So see....I don't trust you even when I know you're a villager.

There was no logic left that I could argue. None.
So I sold my soul and now I'm going to hell. I kept posting in the wolf convo as therapy (and to entertain the mods), because I was seriously having a moral crisis over it. I hate pulling that, just so you know.
Btw this thing of 2+ wolves in my group really needs to end, like 3/4 of my group mates being wolves, come on....
I should have known there was a reason that escalla was being so nice to me in pms 🙁. Just a ploy for me to take her side....
