yeah, that's true. and my student interviewer said that she had a lot of amazing preceptorships in underserved areas, so I'm not too worried anymore. i interviewed last sat.

for those of you who have interviewed-- did they mention anything about the king medical center situation? it should only affect the current residents but not the medical students, is that correct?

well, from what i remember, third year med students used to primarily do rotations at king. now, they send you to a number of different places (including Harbor). While that may sound bad, my interviewer (and all the students that were there talking with us) said that the program still definitely makes it a point to rotate you through very underserved areas (she said she did one of her rotations on skid row). Hope that helps, and anyone else feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

For those that interviewed...in light of the face that some of the UCLA decisions are coming out...does anyone think that the Drew decisions will soon follow? Hopefully..good luck to everyone!

Nope..have not heard anything as of late..they are supposed to be sending out their decisions pretty soon tho i hear..but we juss have to sit tight and be faithful..GL to everyone waiting on Drew..
