I thought it was only like 4600 characters last year, or am I mistaken? 😕
 
Just for clarification, when can we start sending AMCAS our transcripts? If you have created an account with them (& started a 2012 application?), you can start sending them on the day it opens, correct?

Anyways, my MCAT is coming up soon 🙂scared🙂, so I'll be more active after that, haha.

I assume we can do it as soon as we've opened up an account, and have printed out that bar-coded transcript request forms to be sent to schools from which we'll be expecting transcripts.

Oh, I know! I keep thinking about all the things I want to do when I am done studying for the MCAT, but then I remember all the things I have to do to prepare for sending in my app. 😡
 
:hello: blah. I agree with you all. Research. Then ochem lab at 3. Phew. Then I get to go home and study for the mcat 👍 I honestly still have so much stuff to do. Plus, our committee packet was already due, but we're waiting on three writers of mine :/ fml. Alright, rant over. It's almost the weekend, baby.
 
Ah, yeah I'm glad my MCAT is over but somehow I got more busy afterwards. It's pretty sad that nowadays the main reason I look forward to weekends is because I have the entire day open to potentially get work done. Of course, I usually spend a good portion of that time finding new music cause I'm too hungover to focus.

:laugh: Guess I can always fall back on being a talent scout/musician manager

This might sound funny, but I'm actually looking forward to medical school so I can spend all day studying instead of spending all day at work and then all night studying.

My next hangover is going to be on April 27th, day after I find out my MCAT score. If its good, it will be out of celebration. If its bad, it will be out of misery. Hoping its the former.

Wish I was able to be productive after a night of drinking. Maybe I'll start training myself to get good at that. 👍

Unfortunately I failed out after the first week...oops. Guess I should plan to re-take it this summer so I don't fall behind 😀

Yeah, it was pretty much a weed out class. Only the serious students were able to finish. :meanie:

I loved it so much that I decided to take it multiple times. I believe its the only class that allows for repeat performance :laugh:

Heading to BJs tonight for a friends bday party. Hopefully this doesn't turn out too crazy. I do have to work tomorrow and working with kids hungover is no bueno.

as for hangover school 🙂cool🙂 I completely failed out the day I turned 21. Honestly, hate the taste of alcohol and cannot keep it down, leading to me being completely sober since I turned 21 👎
Though, I have recently gotten a PhD in eating chocolate while studying 👍 super success! now to devour this cheesecake while I churn out this instrumental homework... beast!

Yeah, guilty as charged. I graduated last year and am in l'Afrique right now. It's sort of nice, I don't have to worry about classes while applying. But I actually really miss studying! I'm with BWSTW on this. I can't wait to be studying full time!

Hope your weekends are all going awesomely! 😀

Nothing unusual... Kaplan and AAMC full-length tests, EK for sciences and verbal, and pretty much every question Kaplan offered online. Oh, and lots of luck on test day 😀
