This makes me nervous... I only have 5 schools on my primary (that I've paid for) am thinking of adding a few more just to broaden my chances.

It sucks cause I'm the kind of person who falls in love with one certain school and I'll be devastated if I don't make it in to that one. Just gotta keep trying to keep an open mind. :scared:
 
I'll be applying this coming July once I get my MCAT results back. Wish me luck, taking it next week Thurs. Thus far my cGPA = 3.55; sGPA = 3.56 I'll update the MCAT score once I get it.

For those of you interested, I was placed on the alternate list for 2017, but was recently guaranteed a spot in the class of 2018 at MSUCOM. For reference my stats were: cgpa-3.6, sgpa-3.4, MCAT-29Q. Good luck to everyone this cycle

I applied to 12 DO schools (NYCOM, UNECOM, PCOM, LMU-DCOM, VCOM-Virginia, LECOM-Bredenton, OUHCOM, GA-PCOM, MUCOM, CUSOM, KCOM, and NSUCOM). Sent primary on the 5th and verified on the 10th.

My fingers are crossed for a successful application cycle.

- 30 hours at Brigham and Women's volunteer program, central transport unit transporting specimens and patients
- 100 hours volunteering in Clinical Oral Pathology

Research
- 200 hours at Tufts Vet school, Neuroendocrinology lab, rodent surgery and wet lab work
- Over 2000 hours of paid research at MGH pediatric oncology lab, throughout undergrad
- Full time salaried lab technician for the last year after undergrad at Harvard Med/Brigham Hematology lab. Very prominent

- Student theater, stage management in college

- Alpha Epsilon Delta honors pre-medical society
- Dean's list a few semesters
