Ya I am very happy, but it's just gonna be a busy semester. I have school and work on top of flying back and forth urrywhere.
 
I am afraid my grades will go down this semester because I am going to miss so much class.
 
Decided tonight add just a few more schools to my list (already verified and such). Have the first two but unsure about the third. Coming from the Midwest, would you say WCUCOM, WVSOM, or KYCOM? Any suggestions appreciated 🙂

WVSOM if you can handle the tuition.
 
Don't apply to WVSOM or pikeville. Add oucom CCOM and kcumb

Hello everyone. Long time reader but have been shy on the postings (will be changing this!)

Anyway you can count me in as well!

I know I am late in the game... just sending in my primary app this week (took mcat in july). Looking at all Osteopathic schools with PCOM as my dream school. Any and all help and advise is greatly appreciated!

Wow.

Just out of curiousity, are you considering MD's? because with those stats, you have a good chance at some low-mid tier schools.
 
No I'm not applying to MD schools. Feel like DO would be a better fit for me. I shadowed many docs, including DOs and MDs. Even MDs have great respect for DOs and I know some MDs even practice osteopathy too. I just hope I can get an easy acceptance so it will ease my mind a little bit. I'm from west so flying to the east to interview is very expensive. Anyway, congrats on ur ii at Nova, it's definitely a solid school that I'm considering going too. I actually shadowed a DO that is an aesthetic and hand surgeon and he's a graduate of Nova 🙂)

We have the same exact mcat except that your verbal is one point higher than mine. However, your GPA is a lot better than mine. You have a great shot at any DO program. It seems to me that Western might be your top choice. It's my top choice too. Nova comes as a close second (mainly due to having to relocate).

Anyhow, I'm glad that you're genuinely interested in the DO philosophy.

Update: ii at LECOM-e, CUSOM, WVSOM, OUHCOM. Also MCAT retake of 26 (8/8/10).

Received II's from: WesternCOMP (pomona), TouroNV, and LMU (unofficial. I called and asked about my status and was told that they were planning on calling me to schedule my interview, but the lady who's responsible for that was busy).

So far, I got ii's from 4/12 schools I applied to. If I can do it, so can YOU!

Awesome!!! Dang I was hoping to keep you with me at Campbell ;-)

Update: ii to Western Lebanon (that was a shocker for this FL girl!) and to Alabama!!! Got them within 10 min of each other.
 
Received two ii so far NSU and ACOM.

And I sadly do not have enough money to finish my remaining secondaries so hopefully I received ii's from the secondaries I already completed.
 
Marian ii! 4 for 4 with DO schools for interviews now. 🙂
