zeebra44, I can't imagine anyone judging you for that! That's absolutely not a small difference in debt and I admire you for being able to take it so seriously. 🙂

Don't judge me guys.
This has seriously been THE hardest decision of my life. But after speaking with many, many people about it (including a residency counselor at MN), I can't justify paying $164,000 in OOS tuition at MN vs. $86,000 at Mizzou (once I get in-state).
I hope I haven't made any enemies in this decision making process, you all have been so supportive! )

I know MN is an amazing school, but the fear of that much debt was keeping me up at night-and I hadn't even started school yet! I hope I haven't made any enemies in this decision making process, you all have been so supportive! PS: The deposit went out in the mail this morning-so I can't change my mind again, promise! Haha..
Congrats on your decision, zeebra44! As many remember I too made the same difficult decision so I know how excruciatingly hard it is. My heart is still at Penn (not helped by the fact that I've been living here for 3 years and was already a student there once...), but every day I get a little more excited about going to my IS and having an extra ~$100K in my pocket at the end of the day. As many people have reminded me - there are always externships, as well as internships/residencies (if you plan on that route) that could give you another chance at your "dream" school.
