This is incredibly cringe and very online, but it weirdly helps me get through these next couple rotations by imagining them as BS side quests that matter only because I have to chug through them to get to max level.

I have participated in SOAP last year and got false (didn't match into a competitive specialty last year and did some soap but didn't take any offers because decided to extend graduation instead)

There's a lot of additional guidance in there though on how to keep school thing like that going. But I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of schools just canceled it or made it students only.

Exactly. I’m a first gen and my parents and grandparents were so so excited.
they’re going to be heartbroken. If they can’t be there I couldn’t care less about having a ceremony.
Edit: Also we have more than 50 kids in the class.

My class has 260 and that doesnt include the MS and phd graduates... wouldnt work

Match day is officially cancelled but theyre doing a virtual event

my class has about 130 but graduation is MAy 22. It might still be a go for me.

Obviously not the same as graduation or match day, but our school does white coat at the end of first year. It was supposed to be May 1. We have 177. As of this afternoon it wasn't canceled yet, but they are going to make a decision in April. Kind of sucks knowing it's probably going to be canceled.

I'm too scared of delivery. I don't trust people to not go to work if they're sick, especially hourly workers who probably need the money.
 
I just realized as the spouse of non-traditional M4 - I am more nervous than him for the result of match day. My career and job has paid for medical school and our lifestyle and supported our family the past four years. The idea that I may have to leave my job behind and start over based on the match day result has become suddenly frightening. But I promised him that I was “all in” when he made a career change and I guess that means possibly sacrificing some of my own ... may karma be with all of us especially as many of us miss Match Day celebrations good luck!

I am having deja vu

i was legit “quarantined” aka “isolated” for like all of high school. i didnt drive or have a job so summers were awful. So here I am, doing what i did then...revisiting Sporcle, Neopets, and tv until the middle of the night.

My anxiety is also bad

Oh wow...

I didn’t know Neopets was still a thing. That was my jam back in the day. I remember trying to buy rare items at the magic shop with 56k while everyone else had broadband lol.
