I hope this game will make more sense once we start playing since there seems to be a lot to keep track of.
i was supposed to drop the document earlier so people could read it and become familiar with the setup but i got distracted playing pokemon
in unrelated news if anyone would like to trade me a kartana for my stakataka my dms are open
 
What's the point of tourists having to visit one player each night?
vanilla townies got replaced with tourists so that they could send targeting actions
the cult rod wouldnt convert them otherwise

i added the pgo after this so that the tourists couldnt just send their actions on autopilot

So I'm assuming tourists are trying to avoid visiting mafia members as they fear "Mafia One-Shot Paranoid Gun Owner" who would passively kill them?
 
I didnt read that closely and didnt understand what I read, but I am working at home for the foreseeable future and need something to take my mind off coronavirus in Seattle. I think I can spare 4-7 days...sign me up!

Any idea when we will start? Saturday or later would be good...

Does the parity cop see the town vig as non town or town?

nope those would count as differing alignments, despite them both revealing as Not Town post flip. Parity Cop will receive inspects in the form of Same or Different.
Does the parity cop see the town vig as non town or town?
Correct me if I’m wrong Flushy! Parity cop only gets info on if the alignment (village/mafia/3P) of this player is the same as the player checked the previous night. So night results for the parity cop would either literally be the message “same” or “different” depending on who you checked the previous night. So either based on play style you can try to assume the affiliation of players and use that to make assumptions/sense of other players that you check, or you try and target someone who is going to probably flip so you have a reference of non town/town in your data (just keep in mind non town can be 3P or mafia and both would be seen as different affiliations if checked back to back nights but would be flipped when killed as non-town + the confusing stuff with some town/non town flipping as different affiliations than they actually are which is going to make the life of whoever is parity cop harder :oldman:)

Yeah but since vig flips as non town if lynched I’m wondering if they would be considered town or non town for parity cop purposes
 
Trying to get all of my questions out of the way so I don’t have to be like “hey guys how do you think town vig would appear parity wise” once the game starts lmao
 
Wow I just read the first playthrough thread, I can’t believe how different that forum is from here 😱 three day lynches and only ONE PERSON out of SEVEN voted on the last day????

8. Actions should be sent during night phase through Forum Pm. If you do not have an action, please send an "idle". Failure of sending any actions during the night phase will result in the host deciding your action for you.
Flushy can we do contingency actions? ie so I don't forget to put in a night action
