The New World could be described as many things. Many negative things, in fact. However through determination, friendship and television magic, our merry group of survivors pulled society back from the edge. What was once a fledgling population of scared, hopeless people, became a fearless, brazen group who took charge of their lives and restored humanity to its former glory.
Now's all that's left is for our protagonists to enjoy their well earned vacation. I hear they're planning a tour of the islands.....
WildZoo has been voted out. She was The British Virgin Islands, listed as the 25th Caribbean Territory by population.
Additionally, they were revealed to be:
Sometime around now is when I'd tell you to send me actions and idles but I'm afraid that my time with you lovely people has run short.
The Clock has run out for the final time.
Town has won the game.

The two no kill nights can be simply explained as thus:
Dubz is an idiot
Dubz is an idiot

You did great!!!

What happens when you find out that the rest of us were bluffing our way through a mechanics swamp and also out of our leagues? 😉
Cross your fingers behind your back and repeat after me: "someone is lying, and later on I'll look at this to figure out who it is"
And then run before anyone asks any follow up questions lol

N3 I may have legitimately forgotten that the doctors were macho...so we submitted to kill pippy because she was ~onto us~
We killed kaydubs when she asked to die, because we're nice like that
Last night I was spooked by AM and BC arguing about idling, thought BC might change her mind and if she blocked me > me ded but if she blocked MrsDrDr > still me ded and also thought AM might protect her and I was just...tired from life. Thought no kill might sow enough confusion to make people think the goo was still kickin. But I didn't do the math until this morning to figure out that was impossible. So. Still me ded. I figured even if it worked I only had a day left anyway. Too many clear people. Hence I...didn't feel like fighting too hard.
This game also proves that bussing never helps me ever. I may have overreacted to Mel voting for me that one day lol

SAR was PGO, I was strongman, Dina>Mel was goon. I'm guessing Alissa was telling the truth.
Yay Town wins!

That was part of the rock and hard place too. It's really hard to kill your top supporter!
We were planning to finally kill her last night before Mel died and I lost my marbles
Afterword:
This game is very different from how games on SDN are usually done. This is also kinda different from how games on other sites are done. Signing up for this game was a very brave commitment. Seeing this many people sign up for my silly stupid game makes me really really happy and I'm very grateful to everybody who expressed interest. Another huge thank you to everyone who agreed to sub. You all helped me keep the game running smoothly and I appreciate it a lot.
I mentioned earlier that this was basically a playtest so I can run Countdown 3 over the summer. This means that i need feedback. Anything you want to say about the setup/how this was run, I want to hear it. It can be about the entire setup, your role, the day/night play, the flavour, ANYTHING. The more the merrier.
Some housekeeping stuff:
My Host Spreadsheet
My Host doc where I rant to myself
And if you'll have me, I'd be happy to host Countdown 3.5 this time next year.
Goodnight for one more time

Oh, and we were saving the strongman for n5, until it became clear that the goo was no longer alive, and then used it for kaydubs' death wish. But that's why we didn't use it earlier.

Agreed, if life hadn't been doling out gut punches pretty much on the daily I would have been much more into it and...maybe...been less dumb
Some changes that I'm flirting with:
-Changing the Survivor from Blind Oracle to Compulsive Bodyguard
-Changing the Serial Killer to have more shots (maybe unlimited or a One in the Chamber concept)
-Limiting the parity Cop because I think it's too strong

Tsk tsk, serial killers teaming up with villagers. So groce 😛Honorary win for alissa, who carried the team!!
I dunno about this first one. I think it's really important for town to get one affiliation flip
Think about if @Animal Midwife had been the parity seer and sat on her results all game 😛
I saw you talking about this on thread a lot but
Oracle Survivor hurts town more than it helps
takes agency out of town's hands
the dice landing on Midwife hurt a lot too because she couldn't be protected

That was only because I'm an idiot!
I don't think parity cop is too strong. i didn't read through your other playthroughs though. i don't feel like the info from KD/dolph/nav made as much of an impact as it could have, but even with that limitation the role was eliminated as soon as it was revealed.
parity cop is new to the setup
i dont think it was too strong in this particular game but i think it clears too many people in a normal scenario

Wait did you play my plants game?
That's a parity seer that's too strong lol. This one is fine imo
I remember the super cop.
#neverforget
agree to disagree i guess? it's really disorienting as a town player to not know if you've eliminated 3P vs. wolf, which can lead to incorrect assumptions as to who the wolf team actually is (see my post in dead chat for a really bad guess). i feel like town needs some kind of seering if they're going to have any hope of winning.
