Hey guys,

I thought I would start this thread for those of you who've had interviews and are waiting for October 15th for the news, myself included.

19 Days to go!!
 
i'm hoping that october is going to be a fun month 🙂
 
Are there any schools that notify before 10/15?

Jackson, I am so confused. The conversation from the 2014 regarding this just made me go 😕

When exactly should we find out from WF for sure? I would assume since I was in the second day of interviews that I would be among the first committee group, but who knows.

Also, South Carolina apparently lets you know early, but that won't matter to me since it is the first interview I have AFTER the 15th :laugh:
 
How far prior to the 10/15 does one need to interview in order to hear back on the 15th? I have one on 10/5 and am wondering if I'll find out on the 15th or not. Any ideas?

Yeah wondering the same thing. I would guess it depends on schools?

Hey that does depend on which group of interviewees you're a part of. So if you are the first batch of people interviewing at that school, it is possible, but usually most schools start in September so I would assume it would take 3-4 weeks from the date you had your interview before you hear news. Good luck!

All of the above.

The phone notification is sort of informal and is usually done by your interviewer or the Dean. They love to hear how excited you are!
 
Anyone else just glad to be staying busy for the next couple of weeks? If I had too much free time on my hands I think I would just go nuts!

haha so sorry for the confusion!! I THINK ( we can't know for sure what the sneaky adcoms will do to us😛) we will know by the end of this week, that's what they told us at my interview anyways. I'm pretty sure they said the committee is meeting on Wednesday and we'll know thurs or fri.
 
GL guys, and I hope some of you will decline interviews after you get in 🙂 so the rest of us can get a few more chances haha

I am excited for the 15th. It is the date of my last interview. I have four that week. it will be relax and wait to see how everything works out time. 😀

I don't think I will be getting an acceptance on the 15th. My interviews were a bit too late. But good luck to all who are waiting!
 
Absolutely crazy to think that some of us could potentially be accepted in just a few weeks.

I wish I had interviewed at UCDavis sooner, they will take another 3-4 weeks more.

I care. I don't want to wait until December or January to hear if I'm accepted or rejected. That would blow big time.
 
Case and OSU both said I'd hear on Oct 15...yikes. Maybe to pass the time I'll just watch my Arrested Development DVDs in order again!

I thought the 30 day wait for MCAT scores was worse than this has been...anybody else feel that way, too?

But the next 2 weeks may get a little angsty...
 
If I get an acceptance on 10/15 (please, please), then my senioritis is going to hit me full force. I can only hope.:Sigh:

Yes! I still have to finish Season 3, I've watched Season 1 a ton! My favorite is the Gob episode with the "dead dove" bag in the fridge, lol

I have an interview on the 15th, and am kind of glad to have the distraction for that day and the days leading up to it.
