Welcome to Earth-1, where radiation gives you superpowers instead of cancer and a pair of glasses qualify as a good disguise. This world is not a safe place; villains seek to kill, steal, and take it all for themselves. Luckily, our intrepid superheroes have powers to rival theirs...but will it be enough?

We'll start by choosing someone to lead the heroes of Earth-1. In true democratic fashion, it's a secret ballot--PM your presidential vote to both mods. Yes, you may vote for yourself.

The following rules are currently in effect:
1. Typical WW rules: no editing posts, no quoting PMs, bold or ***star*** votes so that we can find and count them.

• Liking someone's vote does NOT count as a vote. Even if you're silenced. Maybe especially if you're silenced.

• Conversations (aka new PMs) are subject to the no editing rule as well. Anyone seen to be editing conversations will be subject to Mod Justice.

2. AFTER the presidential vote is closed, you may PM within your group unless otherwise noted
3. Please have a superhero (or villain) of your choice from the DC 'verse in your avatar
4. Include BOTH mods--equineconstant and Flim Flam Man--in your PMs
Unless otherwise noted, nights end at 6am Central time, and days end at 9pm Central time

My campaign promises include making SOV start over, preventing LIS from posting due to snowing him in, Save swings from baseball bat based attacks, make short and sweet bake everyone miniature cupcakes, and lead a "comical" tenure!

Plus, in true democratic fashion if I'm you're leader there's a good chance the government will temporarily shut down. 😉. But seriously. Elect me. It looks like the edit option only lasts for a couple of minutes, but we're still figuring out the new system so we put it in the rules to be on the safe side. 🙂

Just a thought(please don't shoot me for it): "likes" shouldn't be allowed in WW. It's kind of like having the Memes thread or whatever we had before. Someone asks "is so-and-so silenced?" and that person comes along and "likes" that post. Or someone posts something that only the silenced person can confirm and they "like" that post, confirming said thing, pretty much defeating the point of silencing(other than PMing of course).

Just my $.02(not that anyone really cares)

A flash of gold interfered with some actions, silliness was spread, and one hero did not survive the night. Despite her great willpower, TRH is found with her brain fried beyond all recognition. TRH, the Green Lantern who could make items at will and was the last hope for turning a violet villainess to good, is dead.

Hey, GL is awesome! Ok, Hal is usually a pretty boring character and Guy is a jerk and I have no idea about Kyle, but the power set rocks.
