I finally found the power source for an enclosure for an old drive. I was looking at files on the drive. Two files are DivX movies, and they play on the drive without error. However, when I tried to copy the movies, I got a "The request could not be performed because of an i/o device error" message. I ran chkdsk /f and it found no errors. Attached is a screen shot of the results of chkdsk. I could not copy to a fixed HD, nor to a USB drive. The internet says that something is corrupted; however, the files, as I say, run without error on the drive.
The drive is 120Gb, NTFS.
Any help?
