What is the Tower?
I know that it's the large clinic on campus, but who works there? DMU affiliated staff? What is the patient load and population like? Do students do any rotations there?
Tower = Des Moines University-Osteopathic Medical Center (AKA: The Tower Clinic) - the shape like a spine
😉
All clinicians associate w/COMS, PA/PT offices, classrooms, staff and student, MHA/MPH students and classrooms, Division of Health Management, Clinical Academic Office, OMM Department and offices, Outpatient Surgery, Podiatry clinic, Surgery Academic Department.
Patient population: It's in the thousands.... I know I always see charts and charts and charts.... so I'm sure they get a fair amount of patients. But it's not as large as a hospital, of course.
Yes, COMS, CPMS, PA, PT do rotations at the Tower.
