I heard that if you attend an osteopathic school you must complete a 1-year osteopathic fellowship after you 4 years BEFORE you can begin your residency....is this True? Thanks

This is not true. You don't have to do a TRI in order to start your residency in these states. I believe all but two will allow you to obtain a training license and do your residency in their state. The problem is you cannot moonlight nor can you stay in those states when your residency is complete.
