Unless you really like clipping other peoples toenails, I would recommend burning that junkmail and flushing the ashes down your toilet.
The problem with Podiatry school is that you commit to a specialty (feet) up front. If you decide you'd rather be a cardiologist (for example) you have to go to med school and the thousands of $ that you spent on Podiatry school will be lost.
You may like to specialize in the feet, but then why not just go to med school and become an orthopod.
When was the last time your junkmail contained something worthwhile/valuable? In fact, these mailings really detract from the profession.

It's not even really like a medical "specialty". It's just a doctor of foot medicine, not a doctor of medicine specializing in feet. I don't think they have the same scope of practice that a real doctor would have.
I passed by New York College of Podiatric Medicine while on the train going back to manhattan. I received a packet from them and they had all these nice pictures and invited me to the open house. When I passed by, its this one old run-down brick building in a seemingly bad neighborhood. Explains why they so actively seek you out, haha.
