@DPT Colorado Yesterday, 11/21 at 12:56PM PST. It was just a generic rejection email. I have 402 observations hours in an outpatient clinic, skilled nursing facility, and sub-acute rehabilitation facility distributed as 349hrs/40hrs/13hrs. I think I got the chopping block for not fulfilling their minimum 15hrs in 3 settings rule.

@soccerprept19 My stats are --> HERE

Has anyone heard from Wayne State in Michigan or know if they send out rejection letters? Still haven't heard them and wondering if they let you know if you don't make the cut.

I missed the pre-req science GPA by 0.01 point. They emailed me and basically said they threw out my entire application due to that. It was really discouraging because if they had looked at my supplemental questions or read my essay, they would have seen that I had explained when I got the C that brought me below that threshold, I was suffering from an undiagnosed mental illness and was being “treated” with medications that made it worse. That was the only C I got in college and since my diagnosis, I haven’t gotten a grade below a B+. I don’t want to make excuses because I know I didn’t meet what they wanted, but it was kind of weird to me that they didn’t take into account any extenuating circumstances.
Honestly the program is fantastic, but ridiculously competitive. I’ve been talking back and forth with them for a few years, but didn’t apply. I knew that I just wasn’t “perfect” enough unfortunately. I’m a UW alum, married to a double UW alum, worked for the university after graduation, and have done a lot of other things so it would have been great.
