It's not directly, explicitly mod verified to me (aka I am not a seer) but it is based on mechanics that have been verified across several sources. I'm not going to go into detail because enough people know what I'm talking about that Promo probably isn't actually at risk for lynch. I understand your suspicions but there is very good reason to believe he is not a good choice for today.

And on that note I'll take it back the game...

Lupin and I were in private chat yesterday and what I know is that she wasn't suspicious of RM, Promo, and AM. She might have been comfortable with others but she didn't mention it specifically. There was zero info on Kam, WZ, and MJ (I heard MJ has been chatty in the hold pm so he may be able to be vouched for I have zero idea)
I tithed last night but as of this morning I'm fairly confident it did not go through since there was nothing to go through.
 
You're one of a smallish group left after some elimination---and your post volunteering to tithe right after I told VMH I thought she needed to is giving me the squints (TM Lupin). You would have been a good conversion target considering you're flying pretty low under the radar.

I have some Abney feels too, and uncertainty about a few others, so I'm not married to it.

I haven't heard anything one way or the other. The only time someone communicated with me via private PMs was Lupin following a theory and asking me a question. Deva's insistence on villager isn't based on information I was privy to.

As for Promethean, I am suspicious of him for the same reason you are. On the other hand, I am suspicious of you as as alpha wolf due to the loss of a dragon leading to bad guy theory.

Assuming she's referring to her ability not being activated until now. Though you'd think think the mods would have specified whether or not she could tithe beforehand, and also let her know if it went through or not.

@Promethean could you be more specific about the "rumors" here? How reliable they are, when you heard them, any other details, etc.

Hmm. Doesn't mean much considering converts probably keep their abilities. But since RM tithed N1 I have a hard time imagining he could be converted that early. So I can't rationalize the Ruatha problem and am going to try to close my eyes and pretend it doesn't bother me.

I'm out for the next three hours but will check in before close. Think I'll be sticking with WZ. Have explained somewhat in my hold.

Sorry to be late to the party today. I had a lot going on.

So, still not a wolf. I'm as surprised as anyone else that I yet live. Part of the reason that I've hemorrhaged information is that I go to bed every night sure that I'm the next wolf kill. I'm pretty sure that if I threw down my role name, that would settle it once and for all, but it would also make other folks more vulnerable, and that would be a bad play.

When I've said rumors, that means that I've been able to communicate with someone who has gotten tidbits of information in riddle/rhyme format. So, it isn't as clear as "Hey, this is how it works." And I didn't want to misrepresent that the information has come to me directly, rather than secondhand. Thus "rumor."

I don't have strong wolf feels for anyone. I think we will lynch a couple more villagers in error before we find the remaining wolf (or two?) I'll cogitate and put in a vote within the hour.

I will say, Lupin trusted Abney. Reckon I do, too, then.

As for DVMD's claim that I haven't explained myself -- that is strange given that others have suggested that I've been, if anything, too forthcoming. If there are specific questions you have for me, I'll spill.

Would it be possible to share the riddle/rhyme with the class? Wolves already know how many of them there are and how many converts, etc so I can only see it being helpful for the village to be able to discuss the information and what it might mean.

I quite honestly can't like this enough.

But in her corporeal form, yes Abs, she's a gorgeous chick. 😛 Just victim to the same mildly masculine username problem that I often face.

This was early, early, and was how I figured 2 wolves + one other which turned out to be lone wolf PBC.

Regarding conversions:

"Goals can shift like Igen's sands;
Most agendas can be swayed.
Some tempted by the evil ones,
but even evil can be saved.

Two grow dissatisfied with Pern.
One listens close to poisoned words.
The selfish one may taint one more
Or join Pern if the partner's heard."

Goals shift... conversions are a thing. Even evil can be saved / join Pern if partner's heard = we could have brought Gwen back to the light if we could have resurrected Dy.
One listens close to poisoned words = 1 conversion at least, as of the time this was heard.

2 original pack wolves (1 remaining), lone wolf (dead is PBC), one converted rider (Dead is Gwen.) The original pack wolves could presumably each have converted one, so we are dealing with 2, maybe as many as 3 total (1 O.W., 2 converts.)
 
Conversion renders role reveals less important for determining village or town. Only dragons are immune to conversion, as far as I know.

Just pointing out we have no reason other than PBC's own words to believe she was really a lone wolf, unless the mods went back and made adjustments to the writeup. She's in the same color as the other wolves and there was nothing in what they told us of her role to indicate that she was alone.

When was the conversion related one received?

This makes it sounds like "the selfish one", who was one of the converts, could convert another.

Can you give us specific nights for these, please?

And just because PBC said she was a lone wolf doesn't mean she was. No indication from the write-up that she was telling the truth.

I like your analysis, but do we know that PBC was a lone wolf? I thought that was just part of her ploy to get us not to lynch her. If she wasn't a lone wolf, the other thing that we should "shun" may be chaos.
