In a group this large, do you think that it's possible that there may be more than one blocker for the villagers? I mean, we did start out with 27 people...

I'm not a wolf, and I'm not a blocker either. I was more curious as to whether how many people were playing changed the number of people who have special abilities.

The # of people playing may or may not. *shrug* Hard to read Dy's mind, esp now that she's less than 50% live human. (#ZombieVet)

Today's class brought to you by one-handed typing. You amass in the cold anesthesia lab wearing scrubs and white coats. Rows of steel surgical tables and buckets stand glistening with cages of cats and dogs yowling and howling on top of each other at one end. The class warily approaches them and tries to decide which animal to choose. Only 1 student doesn't show up. Searching the room, they find his body near the locked cabinet, slumped with a tourniquet loosened on his upper arm. Dead is LIS, the student with the ultrasound.

Also, BI told me her roll, but I am really not sure if I believe her or not. And I still have suspicions there.

Going to wait a bit to vote though, see if anyone has any information.
 
Lynch Willow. Not much to go off of again but I found it a little odd that she didn't know villagers were vet students (and I know not everyone is, i.e. the tech) but maybe in this game the wolves are clinicians, or residents or something?

Also - I'm confused by this new look - but there used to be a way to click on the number of replies on a thread and you could see who had posted how many times, and could click the username to see their specific posts, is there a way to do that now?

You can click on a person's name and see recent posts on their profile. It doesn't help if whoever you're investigating is posting on many forums, but if they're like me and just on this thread right now, it can help.

You can't see how many times everyone has replied anymore, but if you go to the search, put the person's name in "Posted by member" and check the box for "search this thread only" you will get all of their replies in this thread

BI voted for LIS at a time when he was nearly tied for the lynch vote - and LIS and DVMD were/are a little suspicious too so I'll go with that for now.

And yeah, I miss the old format where you could easily see everyone's post count on a particular thread. I told @Lee about it, but nothing ever came of it.
 
I was getting some feels off of BI, nothing concrete, but I feel like they have played enough games to not act so noobish. Something about their posts were just a bit off to me

My guess is someone in LIS's group is a wolf. BI is definitely on my suspicious list, but I'm going to mix it up and *****lynch wildzoo*****, since she completely fooled me last game.

The only person I could envision LIS telling role stuff to blindly is DVMD in that group. And I am not feeling a DVMD lynch right now. Not sure what your logic is here. Also LIS would have probably looked into DVMD first given that she is in her group

I'm pretty sure I was the second or third person to vote for LIS when rogert had like 8 votes, so I wasn't really gunning for him. Notice that I also withdrew my vote for him later.

I really don't get why everyone is suspicious of me. I've revealed to DVMD and my role isn't anythung suspicious either. I'm a vanilla villager, another anesthesia tech. There's probably one per group. I literally do nothing.

I agree that LIS probably only revealed to DVMD after looking into her. So I trust her at the moment, and my guess is that there is a noob wolf in that group, they happened to randomly choose to seer LIS, and then they decided to take him out asap once they saw who he was (and I'm not sure exactly what he could do, but I have a guess based off what DVMD said about rezzing him asap). Since the whole group is pretty much noobs outside of dvmd, I just picked wz randomly since she fooled me thoroughly last time, and I wanted to shake up the votes instead of just forming a blind bandwagon on bi. I'd be happy with a bi lynch too though, like I said I'm pretty suspicious of her too.

I told her the exact same thing I just told you guys, so if people don't buy it :shrug:. At least I'm pretty unimportant, but I am a villager number.

I feel like the wolves probably just read what he put on the thread and figured that he'd be better than a random lynch. He advised strongly against lynching him yesterday.

I was asking in the hopes of catching roger in a lie if he was a wolf. I thought he might be trying to claim vanilla villager, or that his role specified villager or generic villager. And I promptly unlynched him once he said that wasn't the case. (I know you already unlynched me but since I a couple votes yesterday I might as well say that now.)

Let's not get into the "there must be a wolf in this group" mantra. While there very well might be a wolf in my group, I don't see LIS dying as a direct indication of that. LIS isn't dumb and wouldn't be going off talking to just anyone in the group, so I don't agree with the thought process that there "has to be a wolf in that group because LIS died".

Now LIS and I were both suspicious of BI last night. It wasn't a secret as we both stated so in the thread. I find a few things odd about what happened after that then. First, BI only PMs me to tell me her roll.. which she has now stated on here. Of course, I have no way to verify her claim. She could be an anesthesia tech with no ability. However, it would be very easy to claim that as a wolf as well.

What I find odd is that she only PMed me, not LIS. We were both suspicious of her and she only chose to tell me about her roll, even though I have given zero indication as to my roll on thread and LIS at least gave some indication about his roll. To me, it is odd that she picked me, didn't PM LIS about her roll and then LIS ends up dead the next morning. One of the two people that found her suspicious ends up dead and she PMs the other with her proclaimed roll. However, that could all just be coincidence.

Anyway, going to get back to study more endocrine.

I have been a converted wolf before and one of the first big things that's pounded into your head is to not go after people who are suspicious of you, since it's just way too easy to single you out after that. I only pm'd you because honestly, I prefer to not reveal to more that one person. That's just a personal preference. Not that it really matters in my case since I'm not really important. I felt it wasn't important which one of you two I messaged since I really don't do anything.

This phrasing from the first post of the game has me wondering if we're going to be able to rely on role name alone to find wolves. What if some anesthesia techs and vet students and whatever else just happen to be wolves too? Just a theory, I know this is supposed to be a basics game so I might be way off base.

I only went with that theory initially because I thought the wolves got lucky by seering him, and because as a wolf I usually choose to seer someone in my group first - but I didn't realise he posted something on the thread about being important, so clearly my theory is useless now.

Anyways, I agree with your reasoning that her actions have been weird so far, *****unlynch wz lynch bi*****

Yeah, I have stated that I believe it could all just be coincidence as well. Which is why I have not voted yet. Kind of wanted to wait and see how things go first.
