How are you interpreting that?Also worth noting that 2 of the 3 people that voted for AM are now dead

I'm going back and forth on it, if AM was a wolf, it looks really obvious, so then maybe she's being framed? Its just odd, especially when the only person alive on the vote is Alissa, who AM is trying to lead a yeet onHow are you interpreting that?
Yeah that one time I tried went uh...real poorlyThat's a deadjo. Fauxjos are reaction tests (which have yet to succeed in practice).
it was fun though!And I knew that response was coming. Just frankly don’t have much to say while this mess is going on.I'm really struggling to find a way to say what I want to say in a non-snarky way
Uhhhh
I think if you would like the conversation to turn in a non-mechanical direction, the best way to help that happen is to make some non-mechanical posts yourself 🙂
I think its pretty interesting how quickly the April wagon builds looking at the tallies, and while I know there were a lot of tinfoils getting thrown around about robin hood, its just weird. MsP switched from an AM vote, Samac had hers on Z earlier and pulled it off, DocE self prezzed by moving his vote off me, and Vissy and Bread cast their votes for the first time on April, with vissy's being like 10 minutes before closing. Also worth noting that 2 of the 3 people that voted for AM are now dead
for the record, while mkg was posting this i was also trying to investigate more or less the same thingsdn broke and won't let me expand the quotes to see your pointedit: it fixed itself somehow
...but also the bolded could easily be wifom'd to death
I would like to hear your thoughts on non-mechanics things thoughAnd I knew that response was coming. Just frankly don’t have much to say while this mess is going on.
your concentrated effort to be not-snarky is appreciated 😛
Do you? Have any updates to your reads from yesterday?@alleycat03 Hi! I just saw you liked one of my posts, and realized I'd completely forgotten you were playing. Are you catching up? Do you have any current reads or thoughts you can share?
Oh. I assumed it was altered to be relevant to the game.You mean the direct Shakespeare quote about the death of Mercutio?
Do you have thoughts on the other wagons that formed as well?I think its pretty interesting how quickly the April wagon builds looking at the tallies, and while I know there were a lot of tinfoils getting thrown around about robin hood, its just weird. What sort of reaction test? Like faking something that looks like a rojo to see who pounces to attack?That's a deadjo. Fauxjos are reaction tests (which have yet to succeed in practice).
It's not the only direct quote from Romeo & Juliet so far.Oh. I assumed it was altered to be relevant to the game.
Yes.What sort of reaction test? Like faking something that looks like a rojo to see who pounces to attack?

Can you explain what you meant by pocketing situation?Sure. It's mostly leans at this point considering the thread state but:
Wolfy leans:
DocE obviously.
Cray I don't feel good about, but it's possible it's a pocketing situation.
Alissa: I feel weird about for the vote switching, but since I've also seen her get misyeeted for that, I'm a little gun shy to push there.
Cyndia: I don't feel good about her lack of thread presence given this is how she wolfed in Bioshock.
Village leans:
Alley: I feel good about having just wolfed with her, so leaning village.
Shorty: Village leaning. Typical Shorty village play.
Dubz: Village lean, but if April flips village, it'll be worth reevaluating.
Dina and you AM: Village leaning, but more from feels than content.
Everyone else is pretty neutral.
One day she won't be. And I have a feeling when that day comes we will see a difference in her play, unless she's a wonder cub like samac.I really hope you weren't serious about the "she feels different this game" thing because you've literally said that about her every single game you've played with her and she's always been village.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yes but that's my meta. Whatever I saw Shorty do didn't seem like it was characteristic for her.Also funny for you to be throwing shade on Shorty for throwing shade when you are so adamant at throwing shade yourself, which is NAI.
omfg you want me to go pull literally every time I have said "This feels weird" from my other 4 village games? Because I'll do it if it'll get you out of this stupid tunnel.Yes but that's my meta. Whatever I saw Shorty do didn't seem like it was characteristic for her.
you had me as village-ish early on that game. Only know this because I was looking through that wolf chat earlier today and I bragged about it lolOne day she won't be. And I have a feeling when that day comes we will see a difference in her play, unless she's a wonder cub like samac.
Although I wanted to point out samac that that one game I kept saying you sounded wolfy, but there was some reason I didn't go there. I thought it had something to do with VCA or your interactions with AM.
ok so went back to look at the reasonings for april's voters and this was the sketchiest one imofor the record, while mkg was posting this i was also trying to investigate more or less the same thing
not to mention visc's vote a whole 12 minutes before closeJumping around and catching up... I am driving the struggle bus at the moment.
Gonna jump on the
yeet april
mind you I am still catching up
and cray's vote too i guess but the 9 min past close is more weird and not necessarily sketch/wolfyVote april
will change if needed and post reason want to give time for defense
#### unexterminate zenge ####
#### exterminate April ####
I seriously do not understand why a villager would EVER post fake reads. (Before DocE jumps in...) You're a villager stand your ground with truth. Don't manufacture reads. Learn how to assess what you see, put people in your neutrals and say what you would like to see from them. This gets easier with experience. You don't have to read every player D1.This is a good point and also reads genuinely villagey to me. I still think it’s good to push for people to post some reads early, but it can be a double-edged sword, because if you apply so much pressure that villagers feel they have to post not just whatever their genuine leans are so far but fake reads for the entire roster, that just benefits wolves. Basically, it’s easier for a villager to sound village by posting genuine reads than it is for a wolf posting fake reads, but harder for a villager posting fake reads than a wolf posting fake reads.
Samac: I’m leaning as village, but after Ggoats I don’t trust it too much. The “sorry April” pinged me because of how similar it was to the “Sorry Zenge” when she got me misyeeted when she was wolfing. I’m also not really onboard to follow this tinfoil she has going. She’s already misyeeted one villager and plans to push to misyeet maybe one, maybe two more following this tinfoil. Not a big fan of that without stronger evidenceDo you? Have any updates to your reads from yesterday?
This still feels like you’re trying to throw shade even though the SAR kill wasn’t super surprising (as others have mentioned too)I'm going back and forth on it, if AM was a wolf, it looks really obvious, so then maybe she's being framed? Its just odd, especially when the only person alive on the vote is Alissa, who AM is trying to lead a yeet on
Not gonna lie, mine was totally a sheep vote. Personally jumping around while catching up and getting a little curious about the April vote, I was actually not a big fan of why Ms. P voted for April.(would add quote but I forgot how to quote on mobile)ok so went back to look at the reasonings for april's voters and this was the sketchiest one imo
not to mention visc's vote a whole 12 minutes before close
and cray's vote too i guess but the 9 min past close is more weird and not necessarily sketch/wolfy
At the time, since I was wolf reading DocE, and I felt like you were sheeping him, and throwing a lot of blind support onto him, I was trying to decide if you were packmates or if I thought he’d pocketed you.Can you explain what you meant by pocketing situation?
Can you be more specific about when vis pinged you? I saw the late vote thing but was there anything else?vote visc
even though i wasn't really a fan of bread's vote either, i'm dropping my vote here because visc pinged on my radar a couple other times
I just have to point out, I wouldn't describe Pippy as a warm and fuzzy mod, and the next meta in pre-vet is that any number of people can potentially die in any sort of tie and a warning about that isn't a given.@Aprilthearab
They were arguing that I was suspicious for saying SAR requesting a tie not happen was modesty (I forget the exact word that was used) and that it triggered my rule of elect those who don't want to be elected. if you want to be super picky, they didn't use the exact words suspicious, but I don't think anyone is going to critique my assessment of what they meant by the words they did choose to use. They criticized my opinion of electing the people who don't want it as contradictory... Even though my very first (on topic) post in this whole thread was about that theory. They then also said that you never know what'll happen if there's a tie. Both people could end up dead. That's complete nonsense. That's the sort of stuff that a amateur wolf says to muddy the water. There is a 0% chance that that is actually a possibility without the mod spelling it out. And we have a nice and kind and touchy-feely mod. It's almost a guarantee that it wouldn't happen on a lynch vote either and it IS a guarantee it wouldn't happen on a mayor vote with ANYONE (Except JDH)
Then they repeatedly stated on multiple posts that maybe we should be going after people who aren't that active. Even a passing understanding of how this game works will let you know that that is a tremendously bad strategy for the village. The strategy begins to get better as you get near the end of the game, but it is horrendous at the start of the game. I spelled that out. You can go ahead and Google werewolf/mafia strategies. It'll be there as a big mistake to not make.
That's just my take on "their takes are ****" component. it makes me not feel bad getting rid of them even if the next part is wrong: I've been very clear that my only strategy complaint is that the way they handled the first few hours rubbed me much more as a wolf trying to stir up coversation and many different votes. It was just so perfectly classic of an example. with that said, I have said it now like five different times, it is day one. It could also just be a coincidence. The only reason why I feel comfortable with this move is because of the stuff I wrote above where this person clearly is bad at this game and so I was paying very close attention to see if it was worthwhile to get rid of them. And as soon as they did something that *could* be wolfy I let go of ant reservations.
since then, they have repeatedly quoted my post and completely ignored almost every point I made. They would mistate my argument. they would say that they read my posts and then completely ignore my post said. I would request them repeatedly to go back to a very specific post they made and they acted like they had no idea what post I was talking about despite the fact that I literally told them where to look. they continue to not address the fact that they made two different very bad arguments, and they accuse me of misrepresenting their argument when it is them who is continually evasive. The fact of the matter is that you all probably know her, and you probably all find me very abrasive and loud and aggressive. Except, collective dandelions, This works. Because this forces people outside of their comfort zone. and I'm not going to stop doing it just because it gets people to reflexively go "this person makes me uncomfortable and I want to get rid of him so we can all sing kumbaya." Take the time and read the thread and then tell me how you feel.
You might feel like I am being overly hard on them, and I agree that I am. But they are the person who I feel most comfortable with losing if they end up being a villager. What I know you won't feel, is you won't feel like I have been changing my arguments at any point, disingenuous at any point, or doing anything other than saying the exact same thing every single post and having shorty misrepresent my argument every single time she quotes it
So the only other people that had more than one vote were:Do you have thoughts on the other wagons that formed as well?
Is it just the lack of thread presence, or is there anything more?yeet LIS
Yeah and that got my wolfy feels from Dubz, I remember thatThere was heat on her at least once and Dubz played it off as "No one is defending her so she must be village" lol
Honestly me feeling bad for helping lead a misyeet is NAI for me.Samac: I’m leaning as village, but after Ggoats I don’t trust it too much. The “sorry April” pinged me because of how similar it was to the “Sorry Zenge” when she got me misyeeted when she was wolfing. I’m also not really onboard to follow this tinfoil she has going. WildZoo: Neutral with a slight village lean. I believe her rational for voting April, but I know how dangerous she can be as a wolf so I want to keep an eye out.
AM: Village reading. This has read like AM’s village meta to me, and there hasn’t been anything thats pinging me.
Ms Procrastinator: IDK WTF that angel shooting on Bob was but overall she does seem to be playing pro village though. It’s at least nice to see her playing like she did Bioshock and not Basics.
Dinashadow: I’d like to see more content overall but of what I’ve seen so far Im reading as village.
Supershorty: Reading as village. Nothing stands out as wolfy.
Crayola227: I’m reading as village. I don’t think she’s playing a very strong game. She seems less interested in wolf hunting, and more interested in throwing shade, and going after anyone who isn’t lining up to simp DocE. She completely phoned in her post restriction. I mean honestly, the best Dr. Who gifs of the day came from Genny calling Cray out on how lazy she was being with it. Again, I’m reading her as village, but I know she can play better than this, and hope she steps up her game.
Wolf Reading:
Viscernable: Reading as wolfy. Really didn’t like the last minute jump on to April as I’ve already said. Hoping to see more content come out.
DocEspana: Still reading behavior as wolfy, and nothing in his content so far has changed that, but people who are familiar with him say it’s just “him” so I’m looking elsewhere for now.
Everyone else:
I’m either reading as neutral or simply hasn’t posted enough that I feel like I can get a decent read on them. In general I do think at least a few wolves are hiding in the low posters.
I specifically said it sounded like this was your plan. If it’s changed that’s fine, but I wasn’t aware of any changes.I don’t know why you’re bringing up me pushing that though, when I’ve only answered questions people have asked and haven’t been shouting to yeet AM or finn since yesterday.
As I mentioned it's not his absence, but a difference in engagement when he is here. He almost exclusively posted about AM when he was here yesterday and hardly mentioned anything else.Is it just the lack of thread presence, or is there anything more?
Don’t get me wrong, I think I’m onto something with location mattering for the majority of people and Robin helped solidly that, but I guess I can’t be sure and people aren’t buying it.I specifically said it sounded like this was your plan. If it’s changed that’s fine, but I wasn’t aware of any changes.
Why not include the single-vote wagons?So the only other people that had more than one vote were:
AM (3) - alissa, TME, SAR
Alissa (2) - finn, capri
Zenge (3) - genny, sunshine, cray
sunshine (3) - LIS, VMH, Barks
Some things that stand out to me about each:
AM - kinda reading village based on tone/questions, but some things have pinged me: she has led a yeet against Alissa D2 in every game I've played with her which is kinda weird, & had back and forth with Alissa but left her vote on Stagg, before placing a contingency yeet on Alissa for D2
Alissa - full disclosure, I get her mixed up with Alley, but from doing a quick iso and skimming I feel ok about her right now, pretty much neutral
Zenge - I dont think he's acting very similar to when he was a wolf in bioshock, but I wouldnt say this is normal village zenge either. I dont really trust my own reads after getting pocketed last time, but right now he's on the lower end of the neutral pile, closer to wolf lean
Sunny - I have her tentatively in village leans, I think her frustration was genuine, and her content posts have added to the discussion well
wait what? Didn't he lead the wagon on Sunny?As I mentioned it's not his absence, but a difference in engagement when he is here. He almost exclusively posted about AM when he was here yesterday and hardly mentioned anything else.
I know this isn’t directed at me, but I started off the game feeling fine about Alley, but she hasn’t posted since Sunday, and I know she’s been here because she liked one of my posts recently and then didn’t respond to me when I tagged her asking for reads. I don’t feel good about that at all.How do you feel about alley?
Recency bias, I was referring to when he was around and posted several times late yesterday. I haven't done a full ISO, but my impression is that he didn't actually engage with sunny much at all.wait what? Didn't he lead the wagon on Sunny?
I honestly didn't think single-votes were considered wagons.Why not include the single-person wagons?
The bolded is patently false. Outside of that though, why is that or the following statements weird to you?
Why are you only neutral on alissa if she's okay? How do you feel about alley?
I kinda resent this a little given the amount of time I spent dealing with the restriction and my explanation to Dubz about why it was so hard.Samac: I’m leaning as village, but after Ggoats I don’t trust it too much. Where she at?
I think something is getting missed. I got the changing from this:Sure, I think someone mentioned it and I was like let’s not.
but this is 41 pages. You remembered someone talking about conversion so well you thought the mention of the word change was a conversion?
Unfortunately, the security in Buckingham Palace has always been a little lacking, to say the least. An intruder broke in again and murdered the monarch in her bed.
(Come on, palace guards... maybe a little less changing and a little more guarding??)
