As an older looking student I have some facial hair and I was wondering what everyones opinion was on whether a man should be completely shaved or if nicely trimed facial hair is ok.

If you think you can shave the facial hair for your interviews, do it. It couldn't hurt.

I've met pharmacists with facial hair- mustaches, gotee's, beards. In fact, they were all hospital pharmacists. So there really isn't a facial hair rule in pharmacy, unless some retail chain's adopted one, but if you have doubt, just shave it.

i think it should be fine...just keep it neat and make sure it looks appropriate with a suit. facial hair can look very different when you're in a suit and tie vs when you're in jeans and a tee

and by neat i don't mean the 1mm thick carefully shaven goatees! (god i hate people that have those)
