Day 1: Outset of a Power Struggle

The day had come for students to meet again. After five years of betrayal and heartbreak on all sides, most of the students of Garreg Mach had become hardened soldiers, set to bring glory to their home states. The first clash in years on the Monastery’s grounds was fueled by disdain and heartbreak.

With the chaotic, frenzied rush into melee, a haze of confusion fell upon the field like a thick blanket until finally an onslaught of arrows rained on the field. Some dove for the bushes and others for crumbling stone overhangs. Others didn’t have the speed to take cover, and instead cowered under their steeds and shields.

An alpha is a wolf who can't die until the other wolves are dead. We don't know for sure if that's what is going on here, but it is one of the reasons that a vote might fail.

Hmm. On the one hand, if genny is an alpha, that makes everyone who voted for them look more inno. On the other, could be a ploy by wolves to make themselves look innocent by voting for an unkillable wolf. That early in the game though...? But maybe that's what they'd want us to think 👀 (this is semi a joke, but I apparently should have listened to my joke earlier the last game I played)
