Hello! I'm an out-of-state dentist (2010 grad) looking to become licensed in Florida. I know I have to retake the ADEX exam including DSE and all patient portions. My question is whether anyone has updated information regarding the Becker course (Florida Dental Licensure Specialists -- http://www.gofdls.com/) or the Gordy course (Florida Dental Board Preps -- http://www.boardpreps.com/). I am weighing the pros and cons of each but would really like to hear from those that actually took these courses. Any info on the patients provided (How much info were you provided prior to exam? Were you able to meet them? Given health histories or x-rays ahead of time, etc...) Also, does either course provide sufficient prep for the Diagnostic Skills Exam, or did you need to purchase additional books? I do not have the option to bring my own patients, and have concluded that I will need to go with one of these courses since I've been out of school for so long. Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give!

Hello, I am new to this forum and I am thinking about taking the Becker review course. I just recently moved to Fl and need to take the ADEX. I've been practicing for 8 years. Your thread is the most recent post about this. Did you take the course? And what are your thoughts?

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well. Did any of you ended up taking Dr. Becker’s prep course? Any input or reviews? Were your patients accepted for the exam? Hope you all passed.

Do you have any infor on how to prepare? I recently moved to Hawaii and have to take ADEX to practice here. I've been practicing for 5 years. My exam is in California and it's coming up and I don't have pts yet
