I haven’t bought new shoes in about a year, with the exception of squash shoes and golf shoes for their respective seasons. That’s great restraint on my part!

I need a new tailor though, so I might as well buy some new bespoke suits and shirts....:D

Finally. This week has seemed fairly long. Just a feedback today. Might run some numbers on projections to justify the hiring of an additional psychometrist in the system in the not too distant future. After that, volleyball, and bottling some beer this weekend.

It's a homemade Pecan Vanilla Bourbon Stout. And, not enjoying it this weekend, it'll need at least a week in the bottle to carbonate and condition before enjoying. Also, gets better with age, so I keep it over the next year, only enjoying a bottle now and then to enjoy the changing tastes.

Just an update: I had the baby on 11/18. Turned into an unplanned C-section after about 24 hours of labor. Taught the OB about CBT for insomnia while she reassembled my guts and stitched me up. At discharge 4 days later, she told me she was already recommending stimulus control to her patients. Win.

Hope everyone is having a nice (Thanksgiving if you're American) weekend.

So... found myself in Cleveland a few weeks ago, and heading to Buffalo this weekend (Go Pats!), both time for “pleasure”vs. business. Any suggestions for the next step on the tour of “cities that have seen better days”?

As an aside- I highly recommend the Rock and Roll HOF. Not something I thought I’d like as much as I did, but the memorabilia is just incredible.

New personal assistant getting some household stuff done. Quarterly dinner with a married couple where I get my regularly scheduled lecture on my "lack of leisure".
 
Only seeing 2 pts today; clinic potluck/bbq followed by Secret Santa
 
Afternoon clinic, then going to see The Last Jedi with my oldest kid this evening. Have a great weekend!
 
Reviewing and fixing some contracts. Writing some long reports. Booking next weeks business travel stuff. Might get done by 7-8pm.
 
Well, Rebecca doesn't get up at like 2AM to get as swole as you. So there.

Report writing day for me as well. Finished one, halfway through another, and have another that I need to finish up (already started as testing took two sessions) and then I'm leaving early for the day, most likely.
 
Saw my ent because an untreated ear infection would be the dumbest way to screw up my professional life, met with one of my accountants, now finishing some data sheets.

Got three books to read this weekend.

Also got my first grad fellowship rejection letter. Not sure how i feel...
 
Wrapping up my second work trip this year. I'll probably hit the gym and then watch some movies in my hotel room.

True. I do wonder who still pays for porn nowadays. As for the pilot, as far as I know, he's grounded until a neurologist gives him the all clear. This eval will not help with that. Mod/Sev EF impairment, Mild imp with attention.

It's all about the niche markets these days. One of my former patients made a good living as a webcam "actress."

I wish! I’m booked all day, but all F/U...so it’s a crapshoot. Trying to reframe my Saturday work. I need to write a couple of reports, so that’s what i’ll do.

I went microbrew hopping w some friends last wkend. Not a huge beer fan, but it was fun. This wkend i’m prob going to just relax until the Super Bowl.
