Hi all,

I originally had plans to start an international internship starting in Jan of 2016. However, due to some medical issues that arised in December, I pushed it back 2 months and ultimately had to cancel it. I attended a few interviews during this time and told the interviewers about my circumstances and they seemed fine with it.

In the meantime, I've continued my previous job (medically related) & am volunteering again at my local free clinic.

I want to send these updates to the schools I interviewed at. However, I'm worried it might sound bad and the schools will be turned off by me. At the same time, I want them to know I've been volunteering again in my local clinic as my application is low on clinical volunteering hours.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks everyone

If you feel it's important to share with the schools, go for it!

While I don't think the extra clinical volunteering hours are anything special, the original international internship was a pretty interesting position & I just want to be 100% transparent w/ them and tell them I'm not doing it anymore. but they might also just not care that I'm not doing it anymore
